"House of Cards" by Madina Lake hits the speakers as a waterfall of pyrotechnics hit above the television screen in Twin Cities, MN. The crowd is on their feet, excited for the last show before Unholy Coronation. The camera swings down to Josh Harter and Phil Brooks, as directly behind them a whole row of men are dressed in black with different colored luchadors similar to the ones which have attacked the past few weeks.
Phil Brooks: Ladies and gentleman, welcome to Wednesday Night Assault, live from the Mariucci Arena in the Twin Cities.
Josh Harter: And what a show tonight, a triple threat debut match, a tables match, a fatal fourway, and a grudge match! My god!
Phil Brooks: And that is nothing to say of the two, count 'em, TWO titles on the line tonight!
Josh Harter: First, the tag team champions Chris Shine & Panic, the Casualties of War, put their straps on the line against Stephen Grace and Lexington Royale. Ohhh it's England's Finest Connection!
Phil Brooks: Then it's the United States title, where David Alastair defends for the first time against #1 contender Alaric Griffon! Let's head to Michelle for our debut opener!
Michelle Madison: The following contest is a triple threat debut match, and is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Detroit, Michigian, weighing 275 lbs., he is the Street’s Disciple...Bishop!!
"Till I Collapse" by Eminem begins and the arena lights start to strobe red and blue, Bishop emerges from the entrance with towel covering his head as the crowd gives him a mixed reaction. He walks down the ramp and slides in the ring, he rips the towel off his head and starts to warm up waiting for his challenge.
Michelle Madison: And his first opponent, from Raleigh, North Carolina, weighing 220 lbs., Rudy Mancino!!
“The Final Countdown” by Europe beings to play over the loudspeakers. As the the curtains brush aside at the top of the ramp, overhead spot lights quickly focus to the top of the ramp, as Rudy Mancino walks out from backstage sporting a large diamond studded coat. Mancino raises his arms high in the air, as the fans boo in hatred. Rudy Mancino makes his way down the ramp, as he dodges the trash thrown by the angered fans. Rudy Mancino reaches the bottom of the ramp, as he pulls himself up onto the apron. Mancino grabs the top rope, as he vaults over the top rope landing inside the ring. Rudy raises his arms in the air for a brief second, before he lowers them and begins to take off his high dollar coat.
Michelle Madison: And their final opponent, from Sumter, South Carolina, weighing in at 235 lbs., “The Mercenary” JW McCammon!!
The arena goes black and "Bite The Bullet" by Machine Head starts to play as dark blue strobe lights hit and the crowd starts to buzz. The crowd erupts as “The Mercenary” JW McCammon walks out onto the stage with his black leather jacket and dark shades on. He pause for a minute on the stage and stares at the crowd and then raises his arms to the air as the crowd pops. McCammon starts heading to the ring, slapping fans’ hands along the way. JW McCammon walks up the far side steps of the ring then walks across the ring apron and looks at the crowd. JW McCammon raises his arms and then gets into the ring. JW McCammon walks around the ring, takes his sunglasses and jacket off, handing them to the ring attendant. JW McCammon starts getting warmed up as he looks at his opponents from across the ring.
All three men are standing in the ring as the bell rings and JW McCammon goes after Bishop as Rudy Mancino attacks The Mercenary from behind, but is met with some right hands, until Bishop comes back and takes it to McCammon in the corner with some hard shots to the midsection. McCammon is assaulted to the floor by both competitors. McCammon comes back though and gets the best of Bishop, but is knocked to the floor with a stiff clothesline from Rudy Mancino. Mancino makes a cover...one...two...Bishop pushes Mancino off McCammon and the two push each other until Bishop yanks the legs out from under Rudy and slingshots him over the top rope! Bishop follows Rudy out and starts nailing him with hard shots against the barricade. JW McCammon, in the ring, and sees what’s happening then runs across the ring and launches himself through the ropes takes out Bishop with a suicide dive as Rudy saw it coming and moved out of the way at the last minute. Mancino starts laying the boots to McCammon.
Josh Harter: Mancino saw that one coming and got the hell out of dodge!
Phil Brooks: Too bad you can’t say the same for Bishop!
Rudy is working on the neck and shoulder of McCammon, back in the ring, as we see Bishop on the floor slumped against the barricades catching his breath and watching on. JW McCammon makes it to his feet and elbows Rudy Mancino in the midsection a number of times breaking the hold before a poke to the eyes from Mancino gets him back in control. Mancino connects with a short arm clothesline and makes another pin attempt...one...two...McCammon kicks out and Rudy goes back to work on the neck and shoulder with a cross armbar. JW McCammon gets to his feet and hip tosses Rudy and then bounces off the ropes, but Bishop trips him up. Bishop then slides into the ring and begins to assault McCammon with the Beat Down and then makes a quick cover...one...two...Rudy Mancino drags Bishop off, breaking the pinfall, and the two discuss working on McCammon together. Rudy grabs McCammon and Bishop lays into him with the Bum’s Rush!
Josh Harter: They are taking McCammon apart!
Phil Brooks: Surprising teamwork from Bishop and Mancino!
Both work on him, trying to soften him up, taking turns. JW McCammon is slammed into the corner by Rudy Mancino and then met with a big shoulder tackle by Bishop! The crowd starts a McCammon chant as Bishop bodyslams McCammon and drops an elbow on his chest. Rudy and Bishop slap hands before Rudy Mancino is knocked to the mat by a big clothesline from Bishop to a cheer from the crowd. Bishop whips McCammon into the corner and charges in, but meets the steel ring post with his shoulder as McCammon moves out of the way! McCammon now goes after Rudy with a snap German suplex, but can’t land a second as Bishop clobbers him in the back of the neck, stopping the cycle. McCammon however, ducks under an attempted Bishop blow and hits a German suplex on him!
Josh Harter: Oh my goodness! McCammon nails a huge German Suplex!
Phil Brooks: Damn!
McCammon now goes after Rudy Mancino and locks on The Lock-On! The crowd is going crazy as Rudy Mancino tries to withstand the hold. His hand is up! He looks like he's going to tap out! No! Bishop clubs McCammon in the back. Bishop lands a number of blows on McCammon as Rudy rolls out of the ring and tries to recover from the Lock-On. Bishop whips McCammon into the ropes, looking for an axe kick, but McCammon ducks and nails him with a dropkick to the knee, bringing the big man down to one knee. McCammon then wraps on the Shoot To Kill! Bishop looks to submit, but Rudy Mancino comes back in and pulls McCammon off of Bishop and locks in a the Face of Defeat!!!
Josh Harter: McCammon almost had Mancino with the Lock-On, now Mancino has McCammon wrapped up with Face of Defeat!!
Phil Brooks: Any Eye For An Eye!
McCammon is able to get his foot on the bottom rope and the referee makes Mancino break the hold. Mancino tries to make a cover on McCammon, but Bishop breaks it up before the referee can even count to one. Bishop pulls Mancino up into the The Betrayal! Bishop isn’t done yet as he lifts Mancino up in the corner and positions him for the Street’s Respect, but McCammon is up and he German suplexes Bishop right out of his boots! Mancino comes staggering out of the corner and JW McCammon lifts him up for the McCammon Driver! McCammon hooks the leg as he makes a cover...one...two...three!
Josh Harter: Gah, McCammon wins.
Michelle Madison: Here is your winner, J.W. MCCAMMON!
The Mercenary raises his hands to the cheer from the crowd, but is knocked down from behind by Bishop and Mancino as the crowd boos. His music never even gets a chance to play.
The Classics Segment The segment opens with a close up of the World Interpromotional Tag Team Championship title belts, their golden surface flashing under the lamplight. As the camera draws back it can be seen the belts are stationed on the table in the middle of The Classics' locker room; Jason and Victor themselves are standing behind the table, "Hip Cat" Eddie Pearl between them.
"In a few short minutes," the manager starts, as he points back at his proteges,"My men, the greatest wrestlers who ever lived, The Classics are going to make an example out of Ryoma and Asagiry or is it Asama and Ryogiri?... er, whatever! Bottom line, and ladies and gentlemen, set the timer at your watch if you don't believe me, two minutes afer the bell rings these two unfortunate souls will be splattered on the mat, having been put through the wood! They'll have Xs on their eyes, and bumps sticking out of their heads, just like in those Japanese cartoons! Like you know, Nuku Nuku Dash?.."
Eddie is getting carried away as he continues chattering enthusiasticly: "Man, do I love Nuku Nuku Dash! That cat android chick is so hot! Man, would I do her! Would I..."
Noticing Victor and Jason are now staring at him with a mixed expression of shock and amusement, he blushes and cuts himself short. "Ahem... anyway, point is, my men are going to beat those guys, pure and simple! Now, I'm gonna address that TLC match coming up..."
"The TLC match coming up, or so I heard," Victor Sinclair interrups in cold, stern voice. "Once again we are being forced into a ridiculous sort of a bout in which we're expected to climb up the ladders and do some stupid dives on whoever happens to be below... Do you really think we are going to do it? I don't think so! If the GWC wants to have grown men diving off the ladders doing all these stupid 790 Corkscrew Fire Phoenix Moonsault Planchas Of Death they should've booked a pair of Mexicans in it, not us. We do not fly around. We stand tall and fight like real men should. So I will tell you how this match is going to go. We are going to take two chairs, maybe a table, settle down outside of the ring and have a tea or read a paper while the other participants flip around in the ring. When we decide we've seen enough we'll step in, beat them into a pulp and win the match. Simple as that."
"Out of all the tag teams advertised for the match, I might add," says Jason, "We only do have respect for one, EFC. I think the world of Mr. Grace and Mr.Royale, a true gentlemen ansd scholars, like us. The rest of the participants... I'm sorry, but they're just a bunch of riff-raff nobodies. And it surprises me to see that Mr. Grace and Mr.Royale have agreed to take part in this match... I guess they did it out of respect for us, The Classics. My partner here made a fine point concerning taking a seat outside of the ring and watch the fools entertain us while breaking each others necks in process. Perhaps England's Finest Connection will consider sharing a cup of tea or maybe a glass of congac with us and enjoy the show. And then, we do not mind, The Classics and EFC could clean up the mess together and be declared co-winners of the match... Anyway, I believe we should be moving to the ring. Eddie, please do make a call to the nearest restaraunt and order a dinner. We'll be back in about five minutes."

Tables Elimination Match The Classics v. Ryoma and Asagiri
Phil Brooks: We’ve seen ladders, we’ve seen chairs, we have even seen cages! But now we see the tables!
Josh Harter: To edit a quote said by the great Brother Ray “Tag teams, GET THE TABLES!”
Michelle Madison: The following match, is an elimination tag team tables match, where the only way to win is to put both of the opposing team members through tables.
Crowd: Get the TABLES! *Clap, Clap, clap-clap, Clap* Get the TABLES! *Clap, Clap, clap-clap, clap*
Vangelis' "Conquest Of Paradise" starts to play as the arena goes dark, with a couple of blue searchlights lightning up the ramp, the aisle and the ring. A loud chorus of boos fills the arena. On the ramp, Eddie Peral appears, followed by two men.
Michelle Madison: Making there way to the ring, accompanied by Eddie Peral, at a combined weight of 423 lbs., "Brilliant" Jason Lane and "Sensational" Victor Sinclair, The Classics.
The tag team wears gold matching capes and white tights, each having their own name on them. Victor and Jason observe the audience for a few seconds, then start their walk towards the ring, looking cold and distant, while their manager, on contrary, gesticulates enthusiastically and chatters away, hyping his protégés. The three enter the ring, Jason and Victor mount the turnbuckles and solemnly unfolds the capes, spreading their arms wide. They then proceed to remove their capes and the belts, which they hand to Eddie Pearl, and walk into a corner awaiting their opponents.
Crowd: Get the TABLES! *Clap, Clap, clap-clap, Clap* Get the TABLES! *Clap, Clap, clap-clap, clap*
"Entrance" by Asian Kung-fu Generation hits the PA system and the crowd goes wild. Two crazy Japanese men emerge from the back stage.
Michelle Madison: On the way to the ring, at a combined weight of 363 lbs., Sakamoto Ryoma and Kana Asagiri!
Ryoma wears black panther tights and while Asagiri wears tiger stripped tights. They slap fan’s hands on the way to the ring. They slide in the ring and get face to face with the Classics. Eddie Peral pushes his team back while the ref pushes back Ryoma and Asagiri. Eddie Peral leaves the ring and the timekeeper rings the bell. Ryoma charges at Victor and clotheslines him to the mat while Asagiri Irish whips Jason out of the ring and to the outside. Ryoma pulls Victor to his feet, calls Asagiri over, double dropkick him and he rolls out of the ring.
Phil Brooks: The Japanese superstars are cleaning house here tonight.
Josh Harter: Remember, they need to put The Classics through tables to win.
Eddie Peral helps Victor and Jason on the outside but Ryoma and Asagiri dive over the top rope to the outside and take Victor and Jason out in front of the announce table. Ryoma picks up Jason, attempts to Irish whip him into the security barrier but Jason reverses and sends Ryoma into the crowd. Victor delivers punches to a downed Asagiri. Jason walks over and assists his tag partner by kicking Asagiri in the stomach. Jason instructs Victor to get a table so Victor leaves Asagiri, flips up the Wednesday Night Assault ring apron and pulls out a wooden table from under the ring. The crowd cheers loudly.
Josh Harter: Here is where it starts!
Victor pulls out the table legs and flips it over setting it up at ringside. Jason pulls Asagiri near the table and tries to suplex him onto it but Ryoma runs around the ring and pulls Asagiri away. Jason falls backward onto the table but picks himself up quickly.
Phil Brooks: Jason’s momentum could have set him up on the table right there!
Victor and Ryoma grapple on the outside and both eventually roll back into the ring. Victor and Ryoma exchange punches when Victor ducks a shot from Ryoma and elbows him in the back of the head. Ryoma holds his head giving Victor a chance to hit a reverse DDT. Jason and Asagiri duel on the outside near the announce table and Asagiri slams Jason’s head on the television monitor upon it.
Phil Brooks: Did you hear that thud? Josh that was-
Phil is interrupted mid sentence when Jason and Asagiri begin fighting behind the announce table. Josh Harter struggles to keep his headset on.
Josh Harter: This is a tables match! So if either of these to are put through our table, they will be eliminated.
Josh is shoved out of the way by Asagiri as he throws Jason atop the announce table. Asagiri stands atop the table as Jason rests on his knees. Asagiri sets up Jason in a piledriver but Jason slips out and low blows Asagiri. Back in the ring Victor is choking Ryoma with the bottom rope in the ring with his foot. Victor breaks the hold, grabs a hold of Ryoma’s leg and tries to lock in a single leg crab but Ryoma pushes him off. Victor regains his balance and is tripped up by a sweep kick from Ryoma. We return to the outside where Asagiri is trying to suplex Jason on the table. Jason reverses and shoves Asagiri off the announce table, hitting the outside padding hard. Jason sizes up Asagiri and dives off the table onto him. Jason leaves Asagiri on the outside and enters the ring to help his tag team partner. Josh and Phil finally make it back to the announce table.
Josh Harter: What a fight that went out right here in front of us Phil.
Phil Brooks: I know. I’m amazed all 4 men are still in this match!
Jason and Victor attack Ryoma in the ring. Jason and Victor drag a tired Ryoma to his feet and hit him with the Coupe De Grace. Ryoma holds his head in pain as Victor leaves the ring to grab a second table from under the ring. Victor slides it in the ring and he and Jason set it up in the center of the ring.
Josh Harter: Say goodbye to Ryoma!
The Classics set up Ryoma in a double suplex and prepare to send him through the table when Asagiri runs in and pulls his partner away. Asagiri rocks back Jason with a left hand and Victor with a right. Asagiri dropkicks Jason Lane sending him into the referee knocking him out.
Phil Brooks: OH NO! The ref is down!
Jason’s momentum knocks the referee to the outside as he himself recovers. Asagiri and Victor are near the ropes where the table is set up as Asagiri tries to toss Victor outside through the table. Victor gets tossed over the ropes but he holds on. Asagiri tries to knock him off but Victor pulls down the ropes and Asagiri flies over yet manages to hold onto Victor. Asagiri tries to German suplex Victor through the table but Victor holds onto the ropes. Ryoma is back on his feet and he throws a dropkick breaking Victor’s grip allowing for Asagiri to suplex him through the table. Victor goes crashing through a table on the outside as it buckles and snaps in two.
Phil Brooks: Victor Sinclair has just been put through a table! He is out of the match!
Ryoma and Asagiri look to the referee for confirmation that Sinclair has been eliminated but the ref is lifeless on the outside.
Josh Harter: The ref didn’t see Victor get eliminated!
Ryoma runs to the outside to pull the referee up but Jason Lane sends him head first into the steel ring support. Ryoma’s head bounces off and he lies face up with a cut just above his eye. Asagiri slides outside the ring, picks up Victor and throws him back into the ring. Asagiri sets him up in a powerbomb and attempts to put him through the table in the ring when Jason low blows Asagiri. Asagiri drops Victor allowing Jason to Irish whip him against the ropes, he bounces back at Jason throws him over the ropes. Asagiri lands on the mat where the table was broken.
Josh Harter: And Asagiri goes right through the table! And yes the referee is back up!
The ref stands up, makes his way back into the ring and sees Asagiri on the outside. The ref goes over to Michelle Madison and tells her something.
Michelle Madison: Ladies and gentlemen, Kana Asagiri has been eliminated.
The crowd begins to boo uncontrollably while Eddie Peral cheers.
Jason and Victor celebrate in the ring as a bloody Ryoma scales the top turnbuckle. Jason turns around and Ryoma jumps off the turnbuckle and dropkicks Jason Lane sending him crashing through the table set up in the ring.
Phil Brooks: And just like that Jason Lane is gone!
Michelle Madison: Jason Lane has been eliminated.
Phil Brooks: Now it is one on one! Sakamoto Ryoma vs. Victor Sinclair!
Lane begins to setup a table on the outside of the ring as Ryoma goes to work on Sinclair. He chops Sinclair hard in the corner, before whipping him across the ring. Ryoma follows with a huge stinger splash, then running bulldog. Sinclair is out in the center of the ring, while Ryoma runs toward the ropes. He jumps to springboard off the middle rope, but Lane pulls it down from the outside, causing Ryoma to go through the ropes and crash through the table!
Josh Harter: That's it! They did it! The Classics win!
Michelle Madison: Here are your winners, THE CLASSICS!
"Conquest Of Paradise" hits the speakers as The Classics celebrate with their manager in the ring. Asagiri tends to Ryoma outside of the ring, as it seems he smacked his head hard on the floor when he crashed through the table.
Darkness v. Nova v. Ryder v. Phoenix Chambers
Michelle Madison: Introducing first, walking the path to Hell, weighing 245 lbs., this is Ryder!!
Smoke fills the ringside area and "Kingdom Come" by Godflesh begins to play as we see a shadowy figure emerge from the curtain. Ryder makes his way to the ring and slides under the bottom rope, stands, and sticks both fists straight out to his sides as he tilts his head back and looks to the rafters. His long blonde hair falls back from his face to reveal deep blue eyes and a face that is tormented. He then goes to the corner of the ring and sits against the bottom turnbuckle as the music fades and the lights turn back on.
Michelle Madison: Next, coming to the ring, from Las Vegas, Nevada, weighing 243 lbs., he is Phoenix Chambers!!
“Familiar Territory” by The Mark of Cain blares through the speakers as Phoenix Chambers walks out of the tunnel onto the stage with and open hoodie, hood covering his head. Chambers bows his head a little and the singer yells "BURN!" in the song, throws his arms out throws his head back to throw the hood off of his head, and then walks down to the ring, focused and ready. In the ring he takes off his hoodie and throws it in the crowd, and sits on the top turnbuckle, looking at Ryder, waiting for the next opponent.
Michelle Madison: Making his way to the ring, from New York City, New York, weighing 223 lbs., The Darkness!!
"Torch" by DZK blasts through the arena as The Darkness walks down the ramp in his long black trench coat. Smoke sprays out from the ramp as Darkness walks down it. He stops before getting in the ring and looks to the crowd and acknowledges them before taking his coat of and throwing it to them he then rolls into the ring. He steps back slowly into his corner, watching both Ryder and Chambers carefully.
Michelle Madison: Last but certainly not least, walking down the aisle, weighing 296 lbs., Nova!!
“Blood Drops” echoes throughout the arena and then a sadistic laugh bellows. Nova walks out with his hands in the air. Nova gets booed all the way down the ramp before rolling into the ring. Nova stares at the other three opponents as the referee gets ready.
The bell rings and all four men start brawling in the center of the ring. Ryder and Nova battle each other as do Chambers and Darkness. Ryder works over Nova as Chambers lifts Darkness into a Saito suplex!
Josh Harter: All four men are taking it to each other like there is no tomorrow!
Phil Brooks: This match isn’t for any titles, but it will certainly be important in the standings!
Darkness rolls to the outside to recover as Ryder and Chambers focus their attention on Nova. Chambers holds Nova as Ryder takes some shots at him. They go to throw Nova into the ropes, but the big man comes back with a huge double clothesline, knocking both men violently to the mat!
Josh Harter: What power from Nova!
Phil Brooks: That was hard to watch! Really hard, ‘cause my damn monitor isn’t working and I can’t see the ring!
Josh Harter: Do you need tech support?!
Phil Brooks: Shut up! Dummy!
Nova tosses Ryder to the outside and hits GWC’s Best Suplex on Chambers then nails him with some right hands. He makes a cover...one...two...Ryder pulls Nova through the ropes and to the outside breaking the pinfall. Ryder hits a couple of shots and whips Nova into the steel steps at ringside. Nova hits his shoulder hard on the steps as Ryder taunts the crowd. Darkness climbs back in and grabs the fallen Chambers. Darkness stalks Chambers and then quickly locks on the Sleep Tight out of nowhere! The referee checks on Chambers, but before Darkness can get the submission, Ryder slides back in and breaks it up. Darkness then gets to his feet and chops Ryder a couple of times before knocking him to the mat with a running lariat! Chambers gets to his feet, but Darkness lifts him up in a military press into a powerslam! Darkness then hits the Light’s Out on Ryder! Darkness makes a cover...one...two...kickout by Ryder! Darkness lifts and throws Ryder into Chambers and then chops away at Chambers in the corner. Ryder comes from behind, but Darkness hits a drop toe hold and Ryder’s head hits Chambers in the privates!
Josh Harter: Oh my goodness! Chambers’ kids had to feel that one!
Phil Brooks: Chambers doesn’t have any kids!
Josh Harter: I mean his future kids!
Phil Brooks: Oh brother!
Phoenix Chambers falls to the mat holding his groin as Ryder gets to his feet, but is taken back down by a huge lariat from Nova! Nova then catapults Chambers into Ryder, knocking both men out of the ring. Darkness and Nova stare each other down in the ring. They lock up and Nova backs Darkness into the corner, but breaks clean. Ryder and Chambers come back in the ring, but Ryder is tossed back out with German Suplex from Nova! Chambers goes to kick Nova, but Nova catches the foot. Chambers though hits the Killswitch out of nowhere sending Nova to the outside!
Josh Harter: What a move from Chambers!
Phil Brooks: He almost took his head off with that move!
Phoenix Chambers then goes to work on Darkness choking him in the corner with his boot. Phoenix nails some jabs to Darkness’ face and then throws him into the ropes, but both men go down from a double clothesline on each other!
Phil Brooks: That was a train wreck!
Josh Harter: Car 54! Where are you?!
Darkness gets to his feet first and goes to the top rope for the Darkness Falls, but Ryder climbs up to stop him and they both fight it out on the top rope as the returning Nova is whipped into the corner by Chambers. Ryder and Darkness go flying off the top rope as Nova comes staggering out of the corner and Phoenix Chambers goes for the Throwdown, but Nova ducks and rolls Chambers up...one...two...Chambers kicks out at two and three quarters! Nova waits for Chambers to get up, hits him with a back elbow knockdown and then lifts him up for another GWC's Best Suplex! Nova makes a cover...one...two...almost three, no! Ryder breaks it up. Nova gets up and knocks Ryder down with a big boot! Then he hits Darkness with a German suplex. Nova looks at the crowd and then grabs Chambers and sets him up the Super Nova! Nova goes for the cover again...one...two...Ryder comes back and breaks up the pin again. Darkness comes from behind, but Ryder throws Darkness into Nova, sending him to the outside. Ryder goes for the Ryderplex, but Darkness counters into a Lights Out! Darkness goes for the Sleep Tight, but Phoenix Chambers comes in and nails both Darkness and Ryder!
Josh Harter: Chambers broke that one up! That would have definitely been the end of the match!
Phil Brooks: It might have been, but Chambers is not letting this one slip through his grasp!
Chambers lifts Darkness up, but Darkness swings around for a suplex. Chambers though blocks it, but Darkness throws him to the outside right into the recovering Nova! Darkness hits another Lights Out on Ryder before going up top for the Darkness Falls. Darkness comes off, but Ryder moves out of the way! Ryder hits the Ryderplex on Darkness! Ryder waits for him to get back up, but Darkness reverses into the Sleep Tight!
Josh Harter: Ryder has nowhere to go! He is about to tap out!
Phil Brooks: This is the second Sleep Tight to Ryder!
Chambers gets in the ring and breaks the hold just as Ryder was about to tap! Nova comes back in and tosses Chambers to the outside. Nova turns around though and is knocked over the top rope by a superkick from Ryder! Ryder spins to find Darkness charging, but he counters and hits The Last Ryde. Hooks the leg...
Crowd: 1! 2! 3!
Michelle Madison: Here is your winner...RYDER!
Phil Brooks: Nice comeback victory for Ryder tonight as he continues to build momentum.
"Kingdom Come" hits the speakers as Ryder has his arm raised in the rings, much to the dismay of the crowd.
Drake Kencedro Segment
The scene quickly switches over to the backstage area, where Monday Night Mayhem Commissioner Drake Kencedro is walking along side with the number one contender for the World Championship, the one…the only Thunder.
Drake Kencedro: You know what Thunder…I’m fed up with all these interferences on my brand.
Thunder: I agree, I clearly had the match won the other night…Until Reckless Jack, and David Alastair arrived.
Drake Kencedro: Which if you think about it…That basically leaves the stipulation up in the air to name.
Thunder grins, as figures that Drake has a point behind all of this.
Drake Kencedro: So technically…we could call it right now…and make it official.
Thunder: Do you have anything in particular in mind?
Drake takes a brief silence, as the duo continue to walk to corridors of the arena.
Drake Kencedro: Seeing how you can clearly out wrestle Sanchez on any day…and Reckless Jack and Alastair have it out for you two…Why not something like. The title can change hands if a disqualification arises.
Thunder grins, as both men stop walking.
Thunder: That sounds perfect.
Drake Kencedro: So Vice can think twice before releasing his second rate wrestlers to get involved with the main event at Unholy Coronation.

Reckless Jack v. Red Solomon
Michelle Madison: The following match is scheduled for one fall! Making his way to the ring, from Singapore City....Red Solomon!
"Young Grow Old' by Creed hits as red light plays across the arena. His manager, the Lady leads out of the tunnel. Red steps out onto the stage and raises both arms high into the air, hands outstretched. He runs to the ring, jumps up onto the apron and jumps over the top rope. He then sits cross-legged in the center of the ring, eyes closed, waiting for his opponent.
Michelle Madison: And his opponent, from Brooklyn, New York....Reckless Jack!
The start of The Immortals' "Fighter's Passion" fills the arena but stops after five seconds. Now we hear the powerful start of Hatebreed's "To The Threshold" comes into the arena as the lights go out. Blue strobe light starts up as the crowd rocks out to the song, awaiting the next wrestler to come out down to the ring.
"This is the sound of the lost, beaten and broken, Rising up and claiming what was been taken from us From the shadows of the past From the depths of our own failures Stepping forward into the light Denying our demise Decimating all uncertainty Bowing to only who can place judgment upon me"
The strobe light stops only to see it start again, this time with a reddish hue to it. A faint silhouette is shown in the entry way, kneeling down with his head down. There is also a white mist surrounding the area where the silhouette is at. The crowd knows who it is at this point and they start to all throw their arms in preparation for who is about to do it.
"Give me your broken Give me your beaten I will build them up I will lead them To the threshold"
The strobe light stops as pyro explodes as a red spotlight shines brightly on Reckless Jack as he is kneeling down. He springs to his feet and throws his arms out. The fans are cheering seeing Reckless Jack as he starts to headbang to the song. Reckless Jack looks on at the fans, some of which happening to be head banging out to the song while the others are just kinda enjoying what is going on. Reckless Jack smirks as he starts to walk down to the ring in his wrestling attire. The spotlight stays on him as the people continue to cheer. He slaps a few hands on his way to the ring.
"Make you stronger Make you believe I am one in the same But now stronger then uncertainty
Within this army This is more than a battle cry It's the blood of our lifeline Flowing faster"
Once Reckless Jack is in the middle of the ramp, he stops and starts to hype himself up as he throws his arm into the air and lifts it high. A string of pyro shoots down the ramp as he brings the arm back down. He continues slapping hands with the cheering fans. After he gets to the ring apron, he rolls into the ring, hopping on the nearest turnbuckle, throwing out his arms once more. The crowd cheering, as he hops down and does the same on the opposite turnbuckle. He jumps off the turnbuckle, then crouches down waiting for the bell.
Josh Harter: And rightfully so, Reckless Jack attacked Eric Kennedy without provocation just last month. He swears he will destroy anything that attempts to get in his path of dominating the GWC.
The bell rings, and as the two men circle one another the lights go out in the arena.
Phil Brooks: What the...?
The lights come back and the masked man is in the ring behind Red Solomon. Reckless Jack immediately charges at the masked man, but Solomon thinks the charge is for him. He avoids Jack with a drop toehold that sends Reckless Jack's throat right into the waiting hands of the masked man, who delivers a vicious chokeslam.
Josh Harter: He almost threw Jack through the ring with that chokeslam! What force!
Solomon sees the masked man and charges as well but is back body dropped over the ropes and lands hard on the bottom of the stage. The masked man looks at Solomon outside of the ring and sees Phoenix Chambers come barreling down the ramp, chair in hand.
Phil Brooks: Here comes Chambers to the aid of Solomon and Jack.
Phoenix Chambers stops at the bottom of the ramp, and drills Red Solomon over the head with the steel chair.
Phil Brooks: Oh god! That sickening thud!
Josh Harter: Chambers hasn't forgotten the battle royal and ladder match he feels Solomon stole from him. The United States title has become his obsession! It's all that matters now.
Back in the ring Reckless Jack has gotten to his feet and waits for the masked man to turn around. He turns, and Jack attempts to hit Reckless Killing but it's blocked. The two men begin to brawl in the ring, exchanging blows as Phoenix Chambers heads back up the ramp, leaving the chair on the ground near Solomon's still body. The masked man gains the advantage and whips Jack into the corner, following closely behind. Jack springboards off the middle turnbuckle and hits Failsafe. The masked man is down.
Phil Brooks: We're finally going to see the man behind the mask!
Josh Harter: I hope it's the devil himself.
Phil Brooks: The way he's attacked Jack, it might as well be.
Reckless Jack rips the mask off to reveal Exodus.
Josh Harter: Exodus! The rookie! What's he doing attacking a legend?
Phil Brooks: Jack's heading out of the ring. That's it? After all of that he's just going to leave?
Jack steps out of the ring, grabs the chair on the ground, and the crowd rises to their feet with cheers. Exodus is slowly rising to his feet, when Jack rolls into the ring and cracks the chair over his head. Exodus stumbles back, and Reckless Jack hits him one last time, dropping Exodus to the mat. Jack throws the chair out of the ring as "To The Threshold" hits the speakers. Jack throws a fist in the air then leaves the ring up the ramp.
Danny Vice Segment
A stagehand runs into Danny Vice's office with a peice of paper in his hand. Danny is seated at a desk looking over files for Unholy Coronation.
Stagehand: Commissioner Vice, I have the transcript from Commissioner Kencedro's announcement that you wanted.
Danny Vice: Thanks, can you close the door on your way out? And take the rest of the night off, you've worked hard here...Wait! One last thing. Let everyone know Reckless Jack will face Exodus at Unholy Coronation. He deserves to get him in the ring after the shit Exodus has pulled lately.
Danny looks over the transcript, thinks for a moment silently, then addresses the camera.
Danny Vice: This is a good idea Kencedro. And I don't tell you that often enough. Let's put our squabbling aside between Mayhem and Assault, and let these two men battle it out for the World Title. That's what this is truly about, who is the best in our business. And I have no doubt, that the title will remain on the "A" show afterwards.
Tag Titles Match Casualties of War (c) v. England's Finest Connection
Michelle Madison: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the Global Wrestling Coalition Tag Team Championship! First, making their way down the aisle, the challengers. This is the team of Lexington The Poet Royale and Stephen The Genius Grace, England's Finest Connection!
A school bell sounds throughout the arena, followed by the opening notes of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony as two distinguished gentlemen make their way through the curtain. They smile smugly at the crowd as waves of jeers wash over them. Oblivious to the hostility, they confidently stride down the ramp and towards the ring. Once there, they walk up the steps and through the ropes, heading to the center of the squared circle. Who are these two extraordinary competitors? Why, it's none other than Lexington The Poet Royale and Stephen The Genius Grace! England's Finest Connection! It looks like they are ready for battle.
Michelle Madison: And their opponents. They are the current reigning and defending Tag Team Champions of the World. This is Chris Shine and Panic. And they are the Casualties of War!
Pain by Three Days Grace hits the speaker system. As the curtains brush aside, Chris Shine walks out from backstage with his arms raised high in the air. Shine talks trash to the fans as he makes his way down to the ring. Slowly following behind is the 6'6 monster known as Panic. The fans boo loudly as it has no effect on either of the two. Chris Shine jumps onto the apron as he looks around the filled arena. Panic reaches the bottom of the ramp, pulls himself up onto the apron, and steps over the ropes. Shine quickly follows him into the ring, as they hold their Tag Team Championship belts high in the air.
Phil Brooks: Well we've got both teams in the ring now and things should be getting pretty interesting here tonight. The first ever defense of the titles by the CoW and it looks like they mean business.
Josh Harter: I'm so torn here. I love both these teams. Can't we just give one tag belt to one team and give the second belt to the other team and call it even?
Phil Brooks: I'm afraid that's not how it works Josh. Maybe you should just close your eyes for this match.
Stephen Grace starts things off for the E.F.C. against Chris Shine of the Tag Team Champions. They lock up and Grace immediately puts Shine in an armbar. Shine winces in pain for a few seconds before rolling forward on his head, flipping over, and reversing it. Now it's Grace's turn to hurt as Shine smiles confidently.
Phil Brooks: I guess Grace and Royale aren't the only ones who can wrestle technically. That was a nice reversal by Chris Shine.
Josh Harter: You're damn right Phil my boy. These have got to be the two top teams in the wrestling world today.
Phil Brooks: But which one is the best Josh?
Josh Harter: Uhh. Ask me after the match.
Phil Brooks: I thought so.
Grace finally is able to grab a hold of some hair and force Chris Shine back into the ropes. He whips him to the other side and goes for a clothesline. Shine ducks, bounces off the other side, and comes back with a flying cross body. He stays on top for the pin...
1... 2... Kickout!
Phil Brooks: The Casualties of War almost pulled a quick one!
Josh Harter: Not yet. The E.F.C. is still in this.
Shine quickly starts laying into the Genius with some punches to take the advantage. He stands him up and whips him into the corner, right next to the monster Panic. Shine makes the quick tag and here comes trouble. Panic with a series of elbows to Grace in the corner before pulling him out and lifting him into the air for a press slam. However, Grace reaches down and thumbs the monster in the eyes, dropping himself to the floor. He adeptly rolls towards his own corner and makes the tag to the Poet. Grace stays in the ring however and they double clothesline Panic over the top rope and down to the floor. Chris Shine drops down to check on his parnter as the E.F.C. stand proudly in the ring.
Phil Brooks: And the two distinguished gentlemen of the E.F.C. have knocked the gigantic Panic out of the ring!
Josh Harter: I knew this would happen. Looks like the E.F.C. is the top team!
Phil Brooks: Whatever you say Josh.
Panic and Chris Shine gather themselves with Shine whispering something in Panic's ear. The monster gets back in the ring to mix it up with Lexington Royale. Before he can get to his feet, the Poet begins stomping away. He stands him up and hits a couple of European uppercuts before whipping him off the ropes. Royale hits him with a knee lift and then bouncing off the ropes himself before delivering a sharp elbow to the side of Panic's head, dropping him to the mat. He stomps on him a couple of times before making the tag to Stephen Grace.
Phil Brooks: Looks like the E.F.C. has been able to keep the monster Panic grounded thus far in the match.
Josh Harter: I've been telling you all along. The E.F.C. is the best!
Phil Brooks: All along huh? I must have had my headphones turned off for that.
Grace confidently circles the giant before kicking him in the temple. He stands Panic up and whips him into a neutral corner. Grace charges and tries a Stinger splash but Panic reaches up and catches him in a chokehold! He lifts the Genius up and throws him halfway across the ring. Panic then staggers over to his own corner and makes the hot tag to Chris Shine. Shine comes flying in and clothesline both a rising Stephen Grace and an entering Lexington Royale. After going back and forth with right hands and then dropkicks for both members of the E.F.C., Shine throws the Poet out of the ring and signals to Panic that it's time for the Face of Defeat. Panic gets Grace and hits the first powerbomb as Shine climbs to the top rope. The Genius is then lifted up and is hit with a cross body block from Shine as Panic powerbombs him down a second time. Panic turns to the crowd to raise his hands in victory.
Phil Brooks: It looks like you were wrong Josh! The CoW is going to hang on to their titles!
Josh Harter: What are you talking about? I told you that Shine and Panic would win!
Chris Shine stays on top of Grace and hooks his leg for the pin...
1... 2... Broken up!
While Panic's back was turned, the Poet reaches into the ring from the floor and pulls Shine by the foot out of the ring. Before Chris can react, Royale hits him directly in the chest with a heart punch.
Phil Brooks: There is is! The Pen Is Mightier right on target. Shine won't be getting up for a while.
Panic is leaning over the ropes yelling down at the Poet and doesn't notice Stephen Grace sneak up from behind. He turns the giant around and hits him with Equilibrium. The Genius makes the cover...
1... 2... Kickout!
Panic kicks out at the very last second and both members of the E.F.C. can't believe it!
Phil Brooks: We almost had new tag team champions right there. What a close one!
Josh Harter: My head hurts. This thing keeps turning back and forth. I don't know who to root for. Phil Brooks: Yeah don't strain yourself Josh.
Lexington now enters the ring and signals something to Stephen Grace. They both smile cruelly as the Poet stands up Panic and gets him ready for a front falling Russian legsweep. At the same time, the Genius hits another Equilibrium neckbreaker.
Phil Brooks: The finishing move of the E.F.C. hit in the center of the ring. It's Verbal Equilibrium folks. I don't think Panic can rise from the depths this time.
Josh Harter: I'm like a prophet or something. I told you all who would win this match. England's Finest Connection!
Phil Brooks: Oh yeah. I'm sure you said that.
The Poet rolls Panic over and makes the cover. However, Chris Shine is about to reenter the ring to break up the count. But for some reason, he can't lift his other foot into the ring! The referee makes the count...
1... 2... 3!
The E.F.C. celebrate in the ring and wave to the jeering crowd as the ref hands them the title belts.
Michelle Madison: The winners of the match and new GWC Tag Team Champions, England's Finest Connection!
Phil Brooks: What was that about? Why didn't Shine get in the ring?
Josh Harter: What are you talking about? He was too devastated by The Pen Is Mightier from the Poet. New tag champs baby! I knew it! God save the Queen!
Shine is going ballistic trying to search under the ring for something as Panic is yelling at him about not breaking up the pin. The E.F.C. head to the back with their tag title belts as Beethoven's Fifth Symphony plays throughout the arena.
Phil Brooks: Nevertheless, new tag team champions in the E.F.C.
Josh Harter: I knew they had it in them. Greatest tag team in the world, just like I said.
Phil Brooks: Oh brother.
Thunder segment
Tim Ryan: I'm here right now with the #1 Contender for the World Title, Thunder. Your match at Unholy Coronation has been changed to add a stipulation. That stipulation is that the title can change hands on a DQ. What are your thoughts on the stipulation?
Thunder: Tim, the commissioner of Mayhem has made another brilliant move by adding this stipulation. Miguel Sanchez may not think so, but I have a message for him.
Miguel, it's time for us to settle what's been going on between us man-to-man. With this stipulation, you can use a cheap way out to get a DQ win. I ask only one thing for you at Unholy Coronation. Let's leave everything else behind. No weapons, no interference, no underhanded tactics. Let's settle this World Title Match in the center of the ring. The better wrestler in that match will walk out the champion because he could do what the other guy couldn't. It's about damn time that you and me settle this rivalry once and for all. So at Unholy Coronation, let's drop all the bullshit and fight for the World Title. May the better man win.

Aria Cross Segment
With the crowd still buzzing after the previous match, they await the beginning of the next rather impatiently. All in attendance pop when Michelle Madison steps back into the ring, seemingly to announce the next match - but they were wrong.
Michelle Madison: Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce, making her first appearance on Wednesday Night Assault...
Phil Brooks: "Her?" That means it must be...
Michelle Madison: Aria Cross!
The opening chords to "Romanticide" by Nightwish bring the fans to their feet in anticipation all eyes on the entrance ramp as the lyrics to the song begin.
"God love and rest my soul With this sundown, never ending The feeling is gone, yet you ain't gonna see me fail I am the decadence of your world, I am an eider covered in oil Happy hunting, you double-faced carnivore
Tell me why, No heart to cry Hang me high!"
A feminine form stood atop the entrance ramp, and the music slowly died down until only the buzzing of the crowd gave any sound to the building. Any fan who had seen the past two episodes of Mayhem would instantly recognize Aria. Tonight, she wore an elegant black strapless gown with six leather straps lining each arm, a choker with a pentacle pendant, and a long rip up the front of the dress all deceiving the innocence that such a lovely gown would normally impart on a woman. The rip in the front displayed fishnet stockings and knee-length black boots. Her hair was swept cleanly down her back, and her pale face was marked with ruby-red lipstick and dark eyeshadow.
When silence ruled the air, she raised the microphone in her hand to her lips, speaking slowly and calmly.
Aria Cross: So, this is Assault...
She smirked subtly, glancing around at the crowd who pop at the mention of the show they're attending. Phil Brooks and Josh Harter filled the brief silence.
Phil Brooks: This is the first time we've seen Aria Cross on Assault... finally she's made her way to the 'A' show!
Josh Harter: It was just a matter of time.
Aria paced to one side of the entrance stage, lifting the microphone back to her ruby-painted lips to address the fans further.
Aria Cross: So, of course, I'm certain that all of you are wondering why I'm here tonight. Well... as all of you should know by now, there will be a gathering at Unholy Coronation to determine who will receive my managerial services. Tonight, I intend to tell you one more of those individuals.
The paused to let this announcement sink into the fans' minds, most of them on the edges of their seats to know more about one of the Unholy Coronation featured matches. Again, Josh Harter and Phil Brooks filled Aria's brief silence.
Phil Brooks: Come on, Josh! Who's your guess?
Josh Harter: Oh, no... I'm just going to wait and see like everyone else. You can't predict anything this Aria Cross is going to do or say...
With a smirk now curving her lips, Aria made the announcement that everyone had been waiting to hear.
Aria Cross: The next participant at Unholy Coronation is Assault's own... Ryder!
The fans boo'ed for Ryder, but Aria only chuckled darkly in response. As she walked toward the backstage area, seemingly finished, the fans once again settled into their seats. However, just before she reached the curtain, the woman paused, adding one more line.
Aria Cross: ...and there will be one more.
At that, she pushed aside the curtain and was gone.
Josh Harter: We've just learned that Ryder will be competing against Pillage for Aria's services... but who is this third competitor?!
Phil Brooks: This Aria Cross never fully answers a question, does she?
Josh Harter: We'll be right back after these commercial messages with more Assault!
England's Finest Connection Segment
The cameras go backstage where Tim Ryan has England's Finest Connection celebrating their win.
Tim Ryan: First off I'd like to congratulate you two. We now have new GWC Tag Team Champions. Quite an accomplishment.
Lexington Royale: Quite right Timothy. Quite right. We knew it would happen all along, didn't we Stephen?
Stephen Grace: That's correct Lexington. It was 'in the bag', as these silly Americans say.
Suddenly a large cloud of smoke bursts and blocks the viewer from seeing anything. When it clears, there is another man standing in between the new champions. He seems to be dressed like a traditional magician.
Tim Ryan: (coughing) W-Who is this?
Lexington Royale: Reginald! You made it! A little late though. You've already missed our glorious victory.
Tim Ryan: Seriously. Who is this guy?
Stephen Grace: Why he's our new manager that we just hired. Reginald "The Magician" Churchill.
Reginald Churchill: That's right Tim my boy. I'm here to make sure these prestigious belts remain around the waists of my team. We don't want them to...disappear!
Tim Ryan: Where were you during tonight's match then?
Reginald Churchill: (stalling) I...I was around. Just not right there at ringside. But I was close enough.
The now three members of the E.F.C. smile mischievously at each other at this statement.
Tim Ryan: Wait a minute here. New manager? Weren't at ringside but you were close enough? And you're a magician? Are you what prevented Chris Shine from reentering the ring? Then you pulled one of your magic tricks so he couldn't find you?
Reginald Churchill: First of all Timothy, a magician never reveals his secrets. And secondly, how dare you accuse me or my team of such a dastardly act? You have insulted this historic evening for us. Come along gentlemen. I must say that it's time we were leaving. Wouldn't you agree?
Royale and Grace: (together) Yes. Quite.
The new GWC Tag Team Champions and their new manager leave the screen and a dumbfounded Tim Ryan as the cameras head back out to the arena.
United States Title Match David Alastair (c) v. Alaric Griffon
Michelle Madison: Ladies and gentlemen, the following match is scheduled for one fall and is for the GWC United States Championship!
Phil Brooks: Folks, it is main event time! You won’t see a greater match then we are about to see right here!
Josh Harter: If there is one thing we can agree on Phil, is that this match is without question one of our greatest main events to date!
Phil Brooks: Alastair has had his hands full with this ongoing feud between Mayhem and Assault but now he has to put that on hold and hopefully retain his title to go on to Unholy Coronation in that Triple Threat Match!
The beginning of "Atomic Garden" introduces a sheet of light fog, which covers the entrance way. Seen at the right angle, one can manage to see a figure standing behind the fog.
"Everybody wants to dance in a playpen But nobody wants to play in my garden I see the hippies on an angry line/Guess they don't get my meaning"
As the words rattle throughout the arena, the figure steps out of the fog.
Michelle Madison: Making his way to the ring, from Nekomi, Japan, weighing in at 246 lbs., he is the GWC United States Champion, David Alastair!
A huge roar of cheers reign down on David, as he inhales, exhales, and looks around, giving the impression of scanning the path before him. Alastair sports a black trench coat with a red "spray painted" Star of David on his back, and blue tights sporting a white “A” at the hip. He also wears black wrist bands just above his taped fists. Alastair also has on blue wrestling boots.
"I'm enchanted by the birds in my blossoms I'm enamored by young lovers on the weekend I like the Fourth of July When bombs start flashing And I wish I had a shiny red top A bugle with a big brass bell would cheer me up Or maybe something bigger that could really go pop!"
The song continues to process into and out from the sound system, David spreads his arms outward and stays like that until the chorus comes in.
Josh Harter: This crowd is electrified and on their feet for the U.S. Champ!
Crowd: Alastair! Alastair!
"So I could make the gardening stop Come out to play Come out to play And we'll pretend it's Christmas Day In my atomic..."
As "Atomic Garden" continues to play, David then proceeds down the ramp and slides into the ring. David proceeds to taunt on the nearest turnbuckle. He embraces the crowd reactions by extending his arms out and proceeds to slowly step off the turnbuckle, preparing for his upcoming match. His music dies down and is over come with loud chants.
Crowd 1: Lets go Alastair! *Clap, clap, clap-clap, clap* Lets go Alastair! *Clap, clap, clap-clap, clap*
Crowd 2: Griffon! Griffon! Griffon!
Phil Brooks: This crowd is making their voices heard here tonight!
The arena lights begin to dim as the opening chords of "Tip the Scales” by Rise Against strums out over the arena loudspeakers. A single bright light emerges in the center the entranceway, and Alaric Griffon stands, arms outstretched, head-facing skywards.
“Are we so alone, So distant, So forgotten, As we think ourselves to be?
These are our lives But did they ever even matter? Are we worth remembering?”
Michelle Madison: And his opponent, from Toronto, Ontario Canada, accompanied by Sarah Aspen, weighing in at 237 lbs., Alaric Griffon!
The crowd once again makes it to their feet and cheer and stomp wildly. Two small, silver fireworks burst three times from each side of where Alaric Griffon stands.
“These machines feed on the tears of broken lives and dying dreams (Oh, Ohhhhhhhh, Oh, Ohhhhhhhhhh) We’re throwing wrenches in the gears Our lives will not be lived in vain (Oh, Ohhhhhhhh, Oh, Ohhhhhhhhhh)”
Alaric Griffon wears knee length, form fitting wrestling shorts, black on the left side, white on the right. Down both sides of his shorts are gold-leaf gryphons, wrapping themselves around his thighs, black knee pads and a black elbow pad on his left arm. He wears shinny black wrestling boots to mid-calf, with white laces. Griffon also wears gold and black wrist tape on both forearms.
“When this is all said and done We spent this life on the run Judged by the company we keep
Our language, buried inside These lungs that keep us alive We breathe so selfishly”
“Promises we plan to break Are made in whispered voices Cause our despair knows many names
We make mistakes But we apologize with roses we never stop to smell on the way”
Making his way down to the ringside area, Griffon stops to high-five the occasional fan and ruffles the hair of a young kid holding a sign with his name on it. A woman who is rushing down the entrance to ringside is none other than his manager, Sarah Aspen.
As he nears the ring itself, Alaric stops. Closing his eyes, he takes a deep breath, and when he exhales, his eyes open with a focus not elsewhere present during his entrance to the arena. Sliding under the bottom rope, Griffon moves quickly to the opposing corner of the ring, and leaping to the turnbuckle, outstretches his right arm, fingers formed in the universal symbol for “Rock and roll”.
Climbing down off the ring post, Griffon removes his jacket, handing it over the top rope to an attendant at ringside. He then stands in the corner, arms crossed. Sarah Aspen takes a seat at ringside near the timekeeper. Griffon music’s dies down as the crowd continues to cheer.
Crowd 1: Lets go Alastair!
Crowd 2: Lets go Griffon!
Crowd 1: Lets go Alastair!
Crowd 2: Lets go Griffon!
Crowd 1: Lets go Alastair!
Crowd 2: Lets go Griffon!
Griffon and Alastair stare each other down in the center of the ring and the ref pushes them back to respective corners. He asks Alastair for the U.S. Title around his waist and Alastair does so without taking his eyes off Griffon. The ref holds up the title in the center of the ring and shows it to all parts of the crowd. The ref hands the belt to the timekeeper, signals for the bell and the match gets underway.
Josh Harter: It’s on!
Alastair charges, takes down Griffon with a running leg lariat and drops a quick elbow right on Griffon’s sternum. Griffon rolls onto his side allowing Alastair to dropkick Griffon on his lower back. Griffon rolls toward the ring ropes hanging over the outside and Alastair hits a second dropkick that sends Griffon to the outside near the crowd. Griffon wearily makes it to his feet as Alastair comes flying over the top rope. Griffon catches Alastair and throws him into the security barrier, his head smacking off with a loud thud.
Crowd: GWC! GWC!
Phil Brooks: That had to have hurt!
Griffon pulls Alastair to his feet, tosses him back into the ring and rolls in himself. Alastair is on lying on his stomach and Griffon locks in a front face lock. Griffon slowly tries to choke Alastair out while the ref checks to see if he is still able to compete. Alastair rolls over taking Griffon over with him and manages to stand up. Griffon holds on and Alastair slams him down with a reverse DDT. Alastair holds his head once again in a slight daze as does Griffon after the DDT. Alastair regains his stamina, slides over to Griffon and hooks his leg for a pin.
1. Griffon gets his shoulder up at one.
Alastair spends no time being upset over the pin and follows up with a flip leg drop on the neck of Griffon. Griffon holds his throat as Alastair continues to deliver forearm shots and kicks to Griffon’s back. Alastair puts Griffon in a chin lock and digs his knee into the back of Griffon. Most of the crowd chants “Tap Out!” as another part of the crowd try to will Griffon to the ropes. Griffon manages to shake Alastair’s knee off his back and tries to crawl toward the rope.
Phil Brooks: Griffon is literally inches away from the ropes!
Griffon gets a hand on the ropes forcing Alastair to break his hold. Alastair backs away to rethink his game plan allowing Griffon to spring up and shoulder block Alastair slamming him to the mat. Griffon and Alastair stand up and Griffon follows up with a spinning roundhouse kick to Alastair’s head. Alastair falls to the mat and Griffon goes for a pin of his own.
1. 2. Alastair kicks out at 2.
Josh Harter: I thought Griffon had him there!
Griffon pulls Alastair to his knees but Alastair elbows Griffon in the stomach breaking his hold. Alastair slips behind Griffon and delivers a release Dragon suplex. Griffon hits the mat hard and Alastair scales the nearest turnbuckle. Griffon slowly makes it to his feet as Alastair times his top rope dive. Griffon finally stands up and Alastair dives off the top rope with a flying axe handle. Griffon sees him coming and delivers a chop to Alastair’s chest.
Crowd: Woooo!
Alastair lands on his feet and falls to his knees holding his now red chest. Griffon spins Alastair around and slams him back down to the mat with a scoop slam. Griffon goes for the pin.
1. 2. Alastair gets the shoulder up at two.
Phil Brooks: Some near falls but still no cigar.
Griffon drives knees into Alastair’s head on the mat. Alastair writhes in pain on the mat giving Griffon a chance to bounce off the ropes and hit a springboard asai moonsault slamming down on Alastair’s back. Griffon holds up a “Rock and Roll” sign with his left hand and the crowd goes wild. Griffon signals the end, traps Alastair and delivers “The Myth”.
Josh Harter: There it is! That big exploder suplex!
Griffon recovers and goes for the pin.
1. 2. 3-
Alastair kicks out just before the three. The crowd cheers in amazement and Griffon can’t believe Alastair kicked out. Griffon looks around the ring and sets his sights on the turnbuckle. He climbs the turnbuckle and awaits on the second rope. Sarah Aspen cheers on the outside. Griffon gives her a thumbs up but distracts him allowing Alastair to dropkick him and land on the turnbuckle.
Crowd: Oh!
Griffon gasps in pain as Sarah Aspen faints on the outside. Alastair stands on the second rope near the turnbuckle and sets up Griffon in the Saviour’s Reign.
Josh Harter: Oh my God! He wouldn’t!
Phil Brooks: I think he will!
Alastair jumps off the second ropes and hits the Saviour’s Reign sending Griffon headfirst to the mat. The crowd is once again in awe of the move Alastair has just pulled off. Alastair crawls over to what appears to be a KO'ed Griffon and drapes an arm over him.
Josh Harter: That's it. Griffon is done.
1. 2. Griffon gets his shoulder up at two and a half.
Phil Brooks: Spoke to soon...again.
Alastair is stunned. He crawls to his knees and looks at Griffon lying on the mat. The crowd is on its feet going wild. Alastair walks over to the turnbuckle and begins his ascent. He leaps off and drills Griffon with a Descending Phoenix Star Press. The crowd shouts with excitement.
Crowd: Oh!!! GWC! GWC! GWC! GWC!
Alastair again drapes his arm over Griffon.
1! 2! 3- Griffon gets his shoulder up again.
Phil Brooks: Good God! What will it take to keep this man down?!?!?
Josh Harter: He said it was his time to be champion, and he's showing us tonight that he is worthy of it.
Alastair gets to his feet quickly, frustrated. He stomps twice on the head of Griffon and pulls him to his feet. He signals to the crowd Abandon All Ye Hope, and places Griffon between his legs. The crowd rises to their feet for the sunset flip piledriver.
Phil Brooks: You can feel the electricity here!
Alastair flips but Griffon does not follow, blocking the move and dropping to his knees for the pin.
1! 2! 3- Alastair kicks out at the last possibly second.
Josh Harter: Great counter from Griffon, but a nice save by Alastair.
Both men to their feet, Alastair charges but Griffon ducks the clothesline attempt and hits a superkick. He hooks the leg...
1! 2! 3- Kickout by Alastair again! Both to their feet quickly again, Alastair kicks Griffon in the gut and sets up Abandon All Ye Hope again, this time Griffon reverses with a victory roll...
1! 2! 3!
Phil Brooks: Yes! Griffon has done it!
Michelle Madison: Here is your winner, and NEW United States Champion....ALARIC GRIFFON!
Griffon has his arm raised in the center of the ring, clutching the US title belt in his arms. Alastair is distraught on the opposite side of the ring, realizing that the victory slipped through his hands. The credits roll as Griffon climbs the turnbuckle and holds the title high above his head towards the crowd.
Phil Brooks: We'll see you next week, at Unholy Coronation!
Josh Harter: Oh great! Canada. Gross.

Oh ya, congratulations to Grace, Poet, and Griffon. You all deserved it. I'll switch colors and sigs tomorrow once everyone gets more of a chance to read the results. Griffon's first defense is at Unholy Coronation, while EFC will defend the following week.

Entertaining show, and congrats to the new champs. One question, is my match a no-contest?
