Struggles, flashes between black and white. Clouds float over houses. A chess game, being fought between two invisible players. A black dragon throws flames at a white dragon which fights back at water. Waterfalls rushing down a cliff face into a volcano, throwing up clouds of steam. The duality portrayed between the two things that make the world go round – love and fear. They contradict each other, who can say whether one lives without the other, because I’m not one to tell. Don’t let the symbolism get to you. Black and white are so much more than colours. They’re absolutes.
We pick up where we left off. The black void, and Skyler trapped inside, unable to get out. Fighting just to reach reality, to escape the very place that he learned to create not so long ago. You already know the setting. Nothing extra needs to be said. Skyler is curled into a ball on the ground, standing up with his hands around his knees, which are brought up to his chest. He

has his eyes closed, either unable to open them or unwilling to in case the white has not returned. Cogs rotate within the mind of Skyler, but he still does not even budge as

the blackness swirls around him, inescapable and consuming.
In your exact words, isn’t your main taunt that you’re Skyler ‘goddamn’ Striker? And by the way, I must take offense to that, Skyler, it really isn’t the best way to describe yourself. Although I suppose I’ll allow it for now. It does sound alright. Regardless of its level of blasphemy. I suppose I should help you escape.
Skyler then chooses to open his eyes. The blackness is all around him… save for a white patch in the distance. A figure walks through it and the white patch follows him, although the blackness returns wherever the figure leaves footprints. Skyler cannot make the figure out. It walks closer and closer, although it stays blurred, almost as if on purpose.
Skyler blacks out.
He wakes up in the real world, lying on a trampoline in his own backyard in Perth, Australia. He opens his eyes which receive bright sunlight from the midday sun, which is unusually bright for the middle of winter (as it is in Australia). Katie and Jade Striker are nowhere to be seen. Skyler turns to look at the swingset, and one swing is still rising up and down, although it gets slower with every swing. Skyler is confused by

the swing, as if still dazed from his experience. The trampoline springs also slow as if Skyler was only bouncing on them recently (although with his adult stature it is unlikely that Skyler was ever able to be bouncing on a kiddie trampoline. He reads

the time on his watch. It is 6:46 A.M. Skyler sits up and looks around at his deserted backyard. And then he blacks out again.
Once again, Skyler wakes up a small while later, still on the trampoline, but now soaked with water. Standing by his side is a grinning Katie Striker. The scene fades out here.
Dawn approaches. The battle has only just begun. And not until full circle will it end.
