(We find ourselves walking down a darkened hallway. Torches line the walls. This is no building or cellar. It is a tomb. The walls, floors, and ceilings are stone. The dusts of the ages float in the light of the torches. We hear footsteps approaching and a shadowed figure emerges from the darkness. Wearing his hooded cloak, we see the Ryder grinning mercilessly. He speaks...)
RYDER: "The time draws near. Talk is cheap. I was foiled once. I shall not fail again. T-Money, prepare for the end of your reign. The Global Wrestling Coalition World Championship shall be mine. No God can save you now. You will be judged and you will be punished. It is written in stone. Inevitable. The light will go out of your eyes and your soul will be mine."
(The Unholy Warrior is now leading us down the hall. We see images in the dust and mist, scenes of the last few months. Ryder's reign of terror as United States Champion. T-Money's dual reigns as World Champion. T.H.U.G. The Affliction. All the way back to the debut match in which they were both named the winner. Their long journeys come to an end on Wednesday night. One shall rise. One shall fall. The Ryder speaks...)
RYDER: "Victory usually means temporary peace. But peace is Eternity's victory. However, there shall be no peace for you. The moment that bell sounds, you will begin your punishment. Your sins have a cost, T-Money. Pray all you'd like. It does you no good now. Because you will be placed in the hands of the Ryder. And no God can interfere then. It will be you and I. Locked in battle. I refuse to be kept from my destiny any longer. Michael Knight was lucky the first time. He is even luckier still to not have the World Championship. Now, the unfortunate one is you. Speak your lies all you'd like. I have always known who I am. Judge, jury, and executioner."
(We continue to follow the Ryder, wondering where he is leading us. Hoping it's not down into the depths of hell. Although...the floor does appear to be slanted downward, ever so slightly. At this sudden realization, a new fear rises. But before it can be given a voice, the Unholy Warrior speaks again...)
RYDER: "The body's victory is often the soul's tremendous loss. The soul's victory is always the body's amazing progress. Unfortunately for you, your body is all that you will have left. Not T.H.U.G. Not the World Championship. Not even your soul. It shall all become mine. Everything you've worked to attain. Everything you've worked to keep. It shall all come crashing down with a vengeance that you have never witnessed before. The Ryder will reign supreme as the true ruler of this Coalition. Your false claims of being a righteous man will prove nothing in that ring. Your attempts to pass yourself off as a street wise hooligan are nothing more than child's games. I see you for what you truly are. A frightened man, clinging to his last few hopes of glory. In the end, no one will even pity you. You will be forgotten, lost in the mists of time."
(We now reach the end of the hallway. An enormous metal door blocks our path. The Ryder looks back over his shoulder, smiling cruelly. He opens the door and we are greeted with a sight that only the damned have seen before us. Hellfire and brimstone as far as the eye can see. We have reached the pits of Hell. The Unholy Warrior is our guide and leads us past instruments of torture, horrible and ghastly. He speaks over the roar of the flames...)
RYDER: "Sometimes I sit here.... I sit here and stare,
blankly into the muted view in front of me.
My mind turning numb as confusion is amplified
like background noise that I can't tune out of my head.
I wonder, I wallow, I wish... my mind keeps spinning the same melody.
If my life's not a failure... when do I start winning?"
(We see interlocking paths that lead into the distance. The Ryder walks them as he has thousands of times before, already knowing where he is going. We see that they all lead to other doors, similar to the one we ourselves walked through. Where we are going now, only the Unholy Warrior knows. He speaks again...)
RYDER: "I'll tell you when I start winning, T-Money. This Wednesday night. Assault shall mark the beginning of a new reign of terror for the GWC. The Unholy Warrior shall emerge victorious to lead this Coalition to new glory. I will rule with an iron fist. No renegade groups such as EPW will be allowed to run rampant over this company when I am in charge. You failed us all and were just lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time when you won that Ultimate X match at Viva La GWC. Your luck runs out this Wednesday."
(The Ryder ignores the begging and pleading of several tortured souls. The cameraman tries to keep focused on the Unholy Warrior alone but can't help it. He occasionally turns to look at these agonizing faces, the terrors of which are too much to describe here. Ryder continues his march...)
RYDER: "The struggle of this taunting...clouds my thoughts and bruises my will. It's hard to be content and to sit still in a place of despair and defeat. The GWC World Championship is my salvation. Winning that title will help to free me from my captive lifestyle, doomed to walk the Path to Hell, ushering guilty and lost souls to their eternal punishment. I yearn to punish those who deserve it. But I seek the glory that has eluded me thus far in my career. You will be the victim of that search, T-Money. You and your false image that you portray to the world. In the end, you shall cry for mercy...just like all the others."
(The Ryder has now picked a new path and it appears to lead to another metal door. What's on the other side of that door, only he may know. The flames barely allow us to see that far. They tower above us, making them seem like a tidal wave of fire. The Unholy Warrior speaks again...)
RYDER: "The liar is cunning and thrives on self doubt.
He is the master at driving confidence out from the soul.
He is the stealer of hope, and the weight of a heavy load.
He is the author of confusion and the master of deception."
(We are getting nearer and nearer to this new door. We feel anxious to leave this horrifying place with it's unforgettably horrendous images, but we dare not move ahead of the Ryder. He speaks again...)
RYDER: "You are that liar, T-Money. You have gained your lofty position by illicit means. You can only have one fate...destruction. All that remains for you is the execution. You have been judged and that judgment is thus...guilty. I have waited too long and suffered too much to be denied. You claim to live a hard lifestyle but you know nothing of agony. You know nothing of pain. This Wednesday, I will allow you to truly realize what those words mean. At my hands, you will suffer a fate worse than death. Your soul belongs to me already...you just don't realize it yet."
(Thankfully, we have now reached this other door. However, the Ryder does not open it just yet. He turns to face us with that demonic look in his eyes. He speaks again...)
RYDER: "I will never invite him in...to do so is to forfeit the game
and face eternity with no end to the pain for this mortal core. I may have my followers in the Affliction, but my agony is mine and mine alone. No one can suffer it for me. They can only suffer alongside me. The Ryder seeks an end to the torment. A chance to start anew as a more destructive force than ever. The World Championship will allow me to do so. The Unholy Warrior knows it is so. The lying can only get you so far."
(Finally, the Ryder opens the door and we step into a hallway similar to the one we had been walking down before. He does not follow. He simply turns to face us once more, bowing his head slightly as he speaks this final message...)
RYDER: "I'm through with warning you, T-Money. This Wednesday, your fate is sealed. You shall fall. I shall rise. The World Championship shall be mine and the new reign of terror begins. The Ryder will rule this Coalition and you will wish you never had anything to do with that title belt, this company, or the wrestling industry itself. At the end of the night, your destruction shall be utterly complete. And my destiny will finally be attained. First, the World Championship. Then, the world. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done. Thus says Ryder."
(The Unholy Warrior begins to laugh mercilessly for a few seconds before stopping abruptly. He glares at us before slamming the door in our face. The roar of the flames is instantly gone and we are left with the silence and the chill of this dark hallway. The scene fades to black.)
