Controversy sells…a saying that you have probably heard many times before. But why is our culture so drawn to violence and confusion? Why are we so easily excited by something or someone who goes against the norm?
To some, my name is synonymous to the word controversy. They said that I thrive off it and that’s certainly not the case. In the past maybe I did, but now that I am a changed man, I have also changed the way that I react to certain scenarios.
Some have embraced the new me and my contemporary outlook on life, while others have continued to shun me. Will I retaliate because I was indirectly cheated out of my World Title? It’s a paradox even for the wisest of men.
[[The scene opens to the backyard of a beautiful mansion. The lights surrounding the exquisite pool and jacuzzi compliment the warm summer night. The sound of a lighter flicking is heard as the camera slowly pans left. T-Money, about to partake of a sweet smelling Black & Mild mini cigar, contently gazes into the remote twilight. He dons a black doo-rag, diamond stud earrings, a platinum chain equipped with a platinum and diamond crucifix medallion, a plain black T-shirt, baggy black mesh shorts, and a pair of black slippers. As he begins to puff on the cigar, he turns to face the camera and begins to speak.]][/i]
T-Money: Ya know, I’m gonna be upfront with ya’ll. I didn’t expect Assault to end up the way that it did. Was my confidence, or the lack therof, the reason for my defeat? Or was it because a particular co-worker of mine, worthless co-worker of mine at that, couldn’t handle the “big” time. Whatever the case may be, on paper, I am no longer the Global Wrestling Coalition World Heavyweight Champion. But in my heart, I’m more of a Champion than Stargazer or Ryder could ever be. Ya know why? That’s because I’m more of a man than them. I don’t hide behind mysterious images or lame factions to solidify who I am because my actions do that for me. I’m not bitter, I just want people to know the truth and not be deceived by what’s in front of them. But that’s common in our culture, we’re easily fooled by what we see. Seeing Stargazer with the title will automatically make some people assume that he’s better than me. Well until he defeats me and not some garbage deadweight third wheel, he will always be a second rate athlete whose only shot in this business was because of the grace of a close relative or a family friend. Say what you wanna say, but I know the truth….that’s all that comes from my lips.
Being in the position that I am, the media is once again making me their top story of the day. I mean, I’m no Paris Hilton or Lindsay Lohan, thank God, but the media loves to hate me. After the whole Jamal Carter incident, they blew up my whole trial situation and made it bigger than what it seemed. And with the whole Thunder thing, they accused me of shooting his mother’s house up. Once again I’m in a ”tough” spot by losing my title, so by me having a history of retaliating, the media is in a frenzy about what I plan to do…..boy oh boy, wouldn’t they like to know? I could do one of many things at the drop of a dime, but ya know what? I’m tired of that. I’m tired of always having things at my instant disposal. So I’m gonna do what nobody expects me to do and that’s to remain humble about the whole situation. If I get another title shot, cool, but that more than likely won’t happen cuz Vice has his favorites, but if I don’t get another one, I’m cool with that as well. I’ve said many times before that I don’t need a piece of a leather strap and metal to validate who I am or what I am capable of in a wrestling ring. For the past seven and a half months, I’ve proven what I can do around here. And for the past nine and a half years, I’ve proven what I can do in and for this business. Most of these chumps around here weren’t even wrestling in the independent federations then, let alone major promotions.
While people like Stargazer, Ryder, and Xavier Cross among a few others, discuss how much they hate me and what not, they fail to realize that I paved the way for them to even have the privilege of competing in this business. They’d probably be working in the gay porn industry if it weren’t for guys like me, although I have heard that there’s a Stargazer sex tape out there that involves him engaging in sodomizing acts with another male. He was deemed a world champion by his boyfriend way before last week’s Assault. But yea, I don’t wanna disgust anybody watching anymore, but all I’m asking as that some people be a little more grateful and give respect where it’s long overdue, kind of like Danny Vice. I showed Nikki Venus and EPW who was boss last month, but come Wednesday, it seems to be a whole nother ball game. I’m forced to team up with dudes that I ain’t really crazy about to defend GWC’s honor. But the whole statement seems kinda tricky to begin with, because this place doesn’t have that much honor to begin with. I mean we got mediocre talent and a CEO who has no clue of what he’s doing, where’s the honor in that? I hope Yukio beats some sense into Vice and hopefully he will come to the realization on how to effectively run a wrestling promotion. He’d be a good producer of a soap opera or something, but this….this is a whole different ball game.
Excuse me….and depending how I feel, I may or may not show up to Tribulation. I’ve already proven that nobody in EPW is a match for me, and with GWC, I’m not down with aligning with people I have ill will towards. And I know it’s wrong to hate people and have enemies, but with the three idiots I’m teaming up with, there has to be an exception. Two of them cost me the World Title on two separate occasions and the other one had parasite tendencies as he fed off of me and used me to get what he want. Why in the world would I want to even have something to do with people like that? I’m better off taking on EPW on my own, but that’s too easy. I want the fans to get their money’s worth off of this pay per view because me against those dudes would be shorter than a Tyson fight. Call it cockiness….call it whatever you’d like to.
But I pretty such said what I had to say. I’m not gonna keep going on, because the more I discuss these fools, the more I’m disgusted and I don’t discuss to disgust feel me? I got some people about to come over anyway, so I gotta get ready for them. Ya’ll be safe and God bless….and I may see ya’ll at Tribulation, but then again, I may not.
