Icon Corp. Segment “Debonaire” by Dope plays as Icon Corp. comes out to the ring. Mike Sullivan: Well, Reign of Terror did not go well…for Joe Ragnal that is! Just take a look! The screen in the arena plays the Reign of Terror footage of Joe Ragnal being hit two times by Icon Corp. with a sledgehammer. Michael Walters: Damn! I replayed that over and over again at my house last week! That sh*t is funny as hell! Actually, can we see that again? The footage is replayed to the crowd’s disapproval. Mike Sullivan: Oh man! Just awesome! How about replaying that again?Once again, the footage is replayed. Michael Walters: That is just pure gold! But enough with this joking around crap, we aren’t like Joe Ragnal. Danny Vice, get your ass out here right f*cking now!“Gonna Fly Now” by Bill Conti plays as GWC owner Danny Vice walks out to the ring and gets in Icon Corp. faces. Mike Sullivan: So boss, what’s the big idea getting in Ragnal and ours business, huh?!Michael Walters: Yeah, you just cost me the chance of being in the d*mn Dark Crusade Match! We could have had a future tag title shot!Danny Vice: It’s very simple. This federation was built for the fans, not for cowards and bullies like yourself. If you want to attack my wrestlers when they aren’t expecting it with weapons, then we should just have a match where weapons aren’t just allowed, they are encouraged.Mike Sullivan: Well, we’ll face you and Ragnal on one condition. Just one term: if we win, you grant us a GWC Tag Team Title shot next month at Vindication in any match we want. We have a deal Danny?Danny Vice: Of course, but you have to make it out of Kingdom Come alive first.Michael Walters: You have some guts Vice, and Ragnal…you’re a dead man tonight. See you in the ring, b*tch!Icon Corp. walks out of the ring and goes backstage.
Triple X v. Kid Alpha These two men battles hard to a time limit draw after Triple X decided to play to the crowd in favor of pinning his opponent. After the match, Commissioner Vice fired both men for not being able to properly please the very deserving Boston crowd. Winner: none
Joe Ragnal/Kid Hollywood v. Icon Corp Commissioner Vice sat in on commentary for this match to scout his opponents for Kingdom Come. The match finished when Kid Hollywood got a low blow on Walters while the ref was separating Vice and Sullivan outside the ring, allowing the newcomer to hit The Director’s Cut for the three count. Dead End v. England’s Finest Connection Dead End worked incredibly well together and isolated Grace for the majority of this match. Quick tags and lots of power moves kept the tag champs off balance. Grace finally tagged Royale in, only to have him run into a big boot from Phantom for a two count. The Emperor would make his abilities known when he hit a big spear on Grace for a two count also. In the end, Royale would catch Phantom with The Pen Is Mightier for the three count. Winners: England’s Finest Connection
Darkness v. K-Dawg An absolute squash, as the former #1 contender for the Television title takes out K-Dawg in under three minutes with a vicious spear. Before leaving the ring, Darkness signals a title around his waist, still furious from his loss against Xavier Cross at Reign of Terror. Winner: Darkness
Xavier Cross Segment
The lights dim as a different song comes over the P.A. “Goodbye For Now.” by P.O.D. is playing as a familiar man walks out from behind the curtains. He has two wrists bands, made of cut red bandana around his wrists and a red bandana hanging out of his pocket. He looks around, he is wearing regular street clothes as he makes his way to the ring. He has a regular white t-shirt that was held tight to his body since he had the TV Title around his waist. His faced his bandaged, he has a few stitches and band aids on his face from Reign of Terror.
Xavier slowly walks up the rings and steps into the ring, no flashy pyro, no flashy moves. He slowly pulls the Red Bandana out of his pocket as he walks towards the corner, he holds the bandana out, he unhooks the belt slowly as he holds it up with his other hand. He jumps off the turnbuckle and slowly walks towards the other corner and repeats the process.
A microphone is thrown into the ring from announce tables. Xavier catches it in the bandana hand as he throws the title over his shoulder and looks around.
Xavier: “It’s strange, not hearing me come out to ‘Bring Em Out?” right?”
The crowd is silent, some people knew what he was out here to say.
Xavier: “I don’t mean to end the show on this kind of note, but I need to explain some stuff, this is a public dedication, and an announcement.”
Xavier takes a deep sigh, almost as if he is about to start crying.
Xavier: “We had a hell of a show tonight huh?”
The crowd starts cheering, but then gets quiet, Xavier grins a bit as he looks around.
Xavier: “I usually play all the red off, as me being a former blood, but no…there is a much deeper story to it then just that. I had a friend, when I was in high school, he wasn’t a gang member, but he always wore a red bandana. He was probably the nicest guy I’ve ever met, you could talk to him about anything, and even if he had never seen you in his life, he would still treat you like his best friend. He was a great person, and that’s the reason I’d like to dedicate the show you’ve just seen to the wonderful person that was taken before his time… So could we, please, everyone I ask for your silence as the time keeper rings the bell, 10 times…”
…ring….
….ring…. …..ring…. ……ring….. …….ring…… ……..ring……… ……….ring………. ………..ring……….. …………ring……….. ………….ring………… …………..ring………….
Xavier bows his head as the fans applaud as he slowly drops the title belt onto the ground, followed by laying the red bandana over top of it. He slowly raises his head as he holds the microphone back up to his mouth.
Xavier: “On the issue, of wonderful, brilliant people taken before their time…I’d like to call your attention to the horrific scene on April 16, 2007...when a young, mental disturbed man took two lives at Virginia Tech, a personal favorite college football team of mine. He took two lives earlier that morning, and then 30 more later that day, followed by his own…So in honor of Virginia Tech, for my match against Jamal Carter, I not only dedicate the match you will see on Assault, to Virginia Tech, but I also dedicate a special television title belt, that holds a Maroon V, and a Orange T in the center.”
The big screen shows a picture of this special belt. Xavier Cross stands silent for a moment as he slowly slides off his white T-shirt to reveal a Virginia Tech, Orange shirt with Maroon writing.
Xavier Cross: “God bless everyone.”
The scene zooms into the Television Title which has a red bandana laying over it.
