Assault opens with "Cochise" by Audioslave blasting through the Wells Fargo Arena in Tempe, AZ. The crowd has been worked up in a fervor and eagerly anticipates the world contract signing between BA Monk and Miguel Sanchez, as the GWC is just ONE WEEK away from ALPHA!
Josh Harter: BOOM! That's what I will say about tonight, because this show is going to be absolutely explosive!
Phil Brooks: We've got a Main Event that includes three huge superstars battling for a United States Title shot next week against Red Solomon!
Josh Harter: Plus a five-man debut match where the winner faces Eric Kennedy and Ryder in an Ultimate Title qualifier at Alpha, talk about an opportunity to make an impact right away.
Phil Brooks: Speaking of Ryder and Eric Kennedy, the two will give us a taste of next week when they square off tonight as well in that very ring!
Josh Harter: And then there's Cool Dad and T-Money, that entire feud between those four men will be resolved at Alpha, in a STEEL CAGE SUBMISSION MATCH!
Phil Brooks: But coming up first and foremost, the WORLD TITLE CONTRACT SIGNING! Let's quit the jibber, jabber and get to work!
World Title Contract Signing
A wooden desk has been set-up in the center of the ring with two large chairs. The GWC World Title contract sits on the table as the crowd waits eagerly for the BA Monk and Miguel Sanchez to make their way to the ring, as their collision course for this title has been a month in the making.
“Gonna Fly Now” by Bill Conti hits the speakers as Commissioner Vice steps out from the back with a microphone in one hand, and the GWC World Title in the other. He walks to the ring giving high fives to the cheering fans, before sliding under the top rope and standing next to the table.
Danny Vice: Before we get down to business, I am here to announce that the GWC will be splitting into TWO BRANDS after Alpha. And that the new brand, Mayhem, will have a very special announcement at Alpha!
Phil Brooks: What!?!?!
Josh Harter: Two Brands!
Danny Vice: That's right everyone, and I thank each and one of you amazign people for the success we've had so far. Now, fans of GWC, I am proud to present to you the GWC WORLD TITLE CONTRACT SIGNING!
The crowd cheers loudly and begins to chant “GWC” as Vice stands in the ring.
Danny Vice: A few weeks ago, something like this was just a small dream, but now a true reality. After weeks of hard-fought battles, blood, sweat, and tears, I can finally be proud to say we have two men deserving of this great title.
Vice places the microphone on the table then lifts the title over his head to the approval of the crowd. After showing it off for several seconds, he folds it on the table in front of him.
Danny Vice: So without any further adue, your two #1 contenders for the GWC WORLD TITLE.
"Keep Away" by Godsmack hits the speakers as BA Monk emerges from the backstage area. Some fans boo loudly due to Monk’s actions, while others cheer him for his accomplishments the last few weeks and have grown to respect him. He walks to the ring, locking his eyes on the World Title.
All of a sudden. The lights go out. Lunatic Calm's "Leave you far Behind" begins to boom through the arena. All of a sudden, green strobe lights begin to shoot through the arena. The spotlight then shines down on the ramp as Miguel Sanchez is shown standing with a cigarette in his mouth. He then pulls the cigarette out of his mouth and flicks it into the crowd. He then proceeds to walk down the ramp. He stops at the apron and looks around. He then walks over to his left where the steel steps are and walks up them and onto the apron. From there, he scrapes off the dirt on his boots and steps through the ropes. He walks over to the closest corner and climbs up to the middle rope where he opens his arms and sucks in the reaction from the crowd. He then steps off and waits for the match to begin.
Crowd: You suck! You suck! You suck!
Miguel Sanchez takes the microphone from Vice and speaks to the crowd, still keeping his eye upon the World Title.
Miguel Sanchez: You can chant all you want, say what you want, and think whatever you want. The only thing that matters here, the only thing that serves any purpose in this entire arena is that title there. And next week, no matter what anyone tries to do or say, that title will rest around my waist.
Miguel Sanchez puts the microphone on the table, then finally looks up at Monk. The two lock eyes and stare each other down across the table. Monk grabs the microphone without ever breaking his stare into Miguel Sanchez’s eyes.
BA Monk: Sure Miguel Sanchez. Talk about my title all you want. It doesn’t matter. You do not even deserve to be here, if Adrian Stone hadn’t been so weak, it would be me standing here with that belt around my waist, not on this table. And at Alpha, the beginning, it will be BA Monk that brings you to your end.
Monk drops the microphone on the table. He lifts the contract up and signs it before handing it to Commissioner Vice. Vice checks the contract before handing it to Miguel Sanchez. Miguel Sanchez looks over the contract, and then smashes the clipboard over the head of Monk. He catches Monk as he begins to fall to the ground and hits The Great Rebirth, smashing the table on his fall. Miguel Sanchez pops to his feet and is tackled by Commissioner Vice who reacted a little too slow after being caught by surprise by Miguel Sanchez’s actions. After several seconds of shoving and shouting between Vice and Miguel Sanchez, Miguel Sanchez pushes through Vice, grabs the contract off the ground and signs it. He throws the contract at Vice, then stares at the GWC World Title on the ground nearby. He walks over and lifts it, placing it right at his waist. Vice walks over and pulls the title out of his hands as the Assault credits begin to roll across the screen and “Leave You Far Behind” hits the speakers.
Phil Brooks: Good god! Miguel Sanchez has attacked Monk and defied Commissioner Vice just one week before Alpha! This main event will be one for the record books!
Josh Harter: Monk is split open from that clipboard shot! How will he rebound at Alpha!?!?
Phil Brooks: We’ll have to see next week. And what about their being a second brand! MAYHEM coming to the GWC! Let's get on with the show...
Vander Cage v. Reckless Jack v. Jester Juggalo v. Pillage v. JT Stone
Michelle Madison: The following contest is a five man debut match for a spot in GWC's first ever PPV...ALPHA!
The First Guitar Lines of "The Cult of Personality" by Living Color Plays and a white light flashes rapidly . The lights get stable when the words begin and JT is standign at the top of the ramp. He runs down to the ring and slides in. He Jumps on the second rope and poses and smirks at the crowd.
"Come Play With Me" - by Insane Clown Posse hits the speakers as Jester Juggalo comes out in a straightjacket and walks through a wall of fire to a resounding boo from the crowd.
'Smoke on the Water' by: Deep Purple booms through the speakers, and Pillage runs out from the back stage flacing his hand sign 'P' (Or 'E' at certain times, youll know when) to the crowd as they cheer. Pillage runs down to the ring, slapping fans hands and diving into the ring, then gets up, and helps the crowd start a 'Pillage' chant. He jumps up onto the top turnbuckle and quickly does a backflip off of it, then stands in the center of the ring.
The lights fade slightly and then a small, white pyro goes off, before "King Of My World" by Saliva comes on. The crowd boo, as Cage pushes apart the curtains and arrogantly makes his way down to the ring, followed by his manager. Cage roatates slowly with his arms outspread, allowing everyone to get a good look at him. When in the ring he ascends to the top turnbuckle, kisses each of his fingers and points to the sky.
The lights out in the arena as we hear the open strains of the guitar for Machine Head’s “Imperium” fills the place for forty seconds. Once the song gets louder, red mist fills the arena. When the drums come in, a figure stands in the entrance way. The crowd is buzzing as the drums start to crash a lot.
“HEAR ME NOW!”
The mist clears away as strobe light starts to go crazy all over the arena. As Flynn continues singing the song, the figure is still shrouded in the darkness despite the strobe lights all over the arena. The people are taking pictures as the chorus comes into the arena finally.
“Hear me now Words I vow No f**k**g regrets
f**k these chains No god damn slave I will be different
I'll stand here defiantly My middle finger raised f**k your prejudice”
Pyro explodes as a red spotlight shines brightly on Reckless Jack as he is kneeling down. He springs to his feet and throws his arms out. The fans are cheering seeing Reckless Jack as he starts to headbang to the song. As they start to walk to the ring, the spotlight stays on him as the people continue to cheer. He slaps a few hands on his way to the ring. Once he is in the middle of the ramp, he stops and starts to hype himself up as he throws his arm into the air and lifts it high. A string of pyro shoots down the ramp as he brings the arm back down. He continues slapping hands with the cheering fans. After he gets to the ring apron, he rolls into the ring, hopping on the nearest turnbuckle, throwing out his arms once more. The crowd cheering, as he hops down and does the same on the opposite turnbuckle. He jumps off the turnbuckle, then crouches down waiting for the opening bell.
Josh Harter: Wow, fresh meat here in the GWC. This could be one hell of a match, with a spot at Alpha on the line.
Phil Brooks: Each of these men has a story and a purpose, one of them will get to show it center stage next week at our first ever PPV.
The bell sounds and the five men immediately attack each other. Cage hits Stone with a stiff clothesline, sending him over the top rope to the floor. He then climbs the top rope and hits Stone with a missile dropkick on the floor.
In the ring, Juggalo and Pillage are double-teaming Reckless Jack. Juggalo proves to be too unstable for teamwork, hitting Pillage with an implant DDT. He then lays in boots to the stomach of Pillage. Unfortunately for Juggalo, Reckless Jack reaches his feet and knocks Juggalo out cold with a Pele Kick.
Phil Brooks: Plenty of action so far in this one, I don't even know who is going to come out on top.
Josh Harter: Jester Juggalo.
Phil Brooks: Why do you say that?
Josh Harter: No idea!
Back on the floor, both Cage and Stone are bloody from hitting each other with the steel stairs. Despite the referee’s attempts to stop it, nothing has worked. Stone comes charging at Cage and hits him square in the head with the stairs. He then follows it up with an inverted powerbomb onto the stairs. Before Stone can do anything else, Reckless Jack comes off the top rope to the floor, hitting Stone with a shooting star press. With all five men now down either on the floor or in the ring, the crowd begins to chant “GWC!”
But the break in action doesn’t last long. In the ring, Pillage reaches his feet and hits Juggalo with a standing dropkick. He goes for a cover.
1…
2…
Cage breaks it up. He hits Pillage with a spear, but doesn’t get the chance to mount any more offense. This is because Reckless Jack comes up behind Cage and hits him with A Trigger Full Of Promises. Stone jumps up on the apron, but Reckless Jack quickly sends him back out with a boot to the face.
When Reckless Jack turns back around, he sees that Pillage is the only other participant still on his feet. The two trade hard punches until Pillage ducks one. He then hits his version of sliced bread #2, called Banana Smasher. Pillage makes the cover.
1…
2…
Reckless Jack barely kicks out. Pillage attempts a lionsault, but Reckless Jack gets his knees up. With Pillage down, Reckless Jack climbs the top rope and hits The Kill, a 630 splash. He then goes for a pin.
1…
2…
Stone is able to dive through the ropes and break up the cover.
Phil Brooks: Oh god! So close to the victory was Reckless Jack, but Stone makes the huge save!
All five men are now in the ring and brawling. Jester whips Cage into the ropes and catches him with an implant DDT as he returns. JT Stone sneaks behind Jester and hits The Fatal Shock. As he climbs to his feet Pillage hits Stone with a T-Bone Suplex!
Phil Brooks: Sheer pandamonium in the ring! Three men are down and it's just up to Pillage and Reckless Jack now!
Josh Harter: No, look!
Reckless Jack has just rolled out of the ring. He walks up the ramp toward the backstage area, seemingly allowing Pillage to finish the match. Pillage scales the turnbuckle and hits a lionsault on Jester and makes the cover.
1
2
3!
Michelle Madison: Here is your winner, PILLAGE!
"Smoke on the Water'' hits the speakers as Pillage has his arm raised, but seemingly confused with what occurred. He slides out of the ring and heads toward the back with cheers from the crowd.
Josh Harter: Did Jack just give up?
Phil Brooks: I am not really sure, but I am sure that Pillage is heading to Alpha to meet Ryder and Kennedy in an Ultimate Title Qualifier, and that is all that matters here tonight!

Cool Dad v. T-Money w/ Jamal Carter and G-Money on commentary
Phil Brooks: Well Josh, we’re suppose to see Cool Dad vs. T-Money here but we are joined by two of the finest stars here in the GWC, Jamal Carter and G-Money.
Josh Harter: Oh brother.
Phil Brooks: Welcome Jamal, G-Money.
Jamal Carter: Hey Phil. Josh. Thanks for having me here.
Josh Harter: Wish I could say the same.
G-Money: Welcome and good luck.
Jamal Carter: Thanks. Likewise.
Josh Harter: Enough pleasantries, lets get to the match already!
The arena lights fade to black as two sets of squad car lights pierce the darkness from the jumbrotron. The sound of a police siren and a few gun shots fill the air. "We Fly High" by Jim Jones begins to boom through the PA. T-Money appears on the stage and six shots of pyro are shot out above the crowd.
Michelle Madison: Making his way to the ring, from Orlando, Florida, weighing in at 183 lbs., T-Money!
T-Money walks toward the ring to a vast amount of boos. Bare chested and clad in baggy jeans and Timberland boots, he slowly strolls to the ring. He climbs the ring steps and stops for a moment to pose for the crowd. He turns back to the ring, climbs through the ropes, and poses once again. His theme music fades out and he looks down towards the announce table. G-Money smiles back and Carter stands up and slowly walks toward the ring but G-Money settles him down.
G-Money: Calm down. I want a piece of him just as much as you.
Carter puts his headset pack on and T-Money spits down towards the announce table and flips the announce team off.
Phil Brooks: Can you believe this guy?!
Josh Harter: I can! He is my hero!
The PA system plays "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath and Cool Dad emerges from the backstage area wearing orange tights with “The Icon” written in white on the side holding the chair he used last week on Carter. A dent can be seen in the middle of the chair. CD holds it high in the air and makes a title motion as he slides into the ring. The referee walks over to CD and tells him he cannot have the chair in the ring with him. CD then slides out of the ring with the chair and sets it on the announce table. G-Money now stands up and challenges CD who quickly slides back into the ring.
Michelle Madison: In the ring, from Louisville, Kentucky, weighing in at 244 lbs., Cool Dad!
Cool Dad climbs the nearest turnbuckle, taunts out over the crowd and is met with boos.
Cool Dad dismounts the turnbuckle and the match begins. Cool Dad and T-Money lock up in the center of the ring. Cool Dad slips behind T-Money and tries to German suplex T-Money but T-Money elbows him in the side of the head. CD releases his grip and T-Money continues to deliver forearm shots to the side of CD’s head. CD backs up to the ropes and T-Money hits CD in the jaw with an European Uppercut. T-Money grabs CD by the head and drags him to a turnbuckle and slams his head into it. CD holds his head and T-Money slams his head into the turnbuckle again.
Phil Brooks: You can see Cool Dad’s head just bouncing off the turnbuckle pad. That pad isn’t as protective as you would think!
G-Money: That fool is really taken it to CD.
Josh Harter: T-Money is just weakening him for Alpha, Phil. Take CD down a couple of notches and weaken him and all T-Money will have to worry about are these two losers.
T-Money tries a third head slam but CD sticks his hand out and saves his head. CD elbows T-Money in the head knocking him backward. CD delivers right jabs to T-Money then follows up with a swinging neckbreaker. CD goes for the pin putting his knee in T-Money’s face.
1.
T-Money gets the shoulder up at a 1 count. G-Money and Carter continue to look on in anticipation.
CD stomps on T-Money’s left leg and locks in a single leg crab on the same leg. T-Money crawls toward the ropes and pulls himself out of the ring. T-Money catches his breath on the outside near the announce table. Jamal Carter removes his headset once again and walks toward T-Money. The ref comes out and holds Carter back and tells T-Money to get back in the ring. T-Money stares back and stands up on the apron. CD walks over to the apron and flips T-Money back into the ring. CD then grabs T-Money by the left leg and tosses him across the ring. CD then pulls T-Money over to the turnbuckle, then scales to the second turnbuckle and drops an elbow onto his leg.
Josh Harter: CD is targeting that left leg of T-Money. That will take off his air game and weaken him.
Jamal Carter: If you knew anything, you would know that T-Money doesn’t go to the air that often.
Josh Harter: I’m not the one who took a chair shot to the head.
Cool Dad drags T-Money to the center of the ring and drops another elbow to T-Money’s leg. CD then hooks T-Money’s legs and goes for the pin.
1... 2...
T-Money kicks out at 2.
G-Money: You see Josh although Cool Dad was targeting T-Money’s leg he made sure he hooked his leg, making it harder for T-Money to kick out.
Josh Harter: Who is the commentator here?
Phil Brooks: Well for this match, he is.
CD pulls T-Money to his feet. T-Money staggers and CD bounces off the ropes and tries for spear which T-Money manages to move out of the way from. CD catches himself on the ropes and T-Money delivers a knee to CD’s lower back. Cool Dad drops to his knees and T-Money chokes CD with the ropes.
1. 2. 3. 4.
The ref counts and warns T-Money of a Disqualification.
T-Money pulls CD to his feet and DDT’s him on the mat. T-Money begins to deliver mounted punches to CD’s head. The ref tells him not to use closed fist punches but T-Money continues. T-Money now uses his forearm to choke CD. The ref pulls T-Money off and once again warns him of DQ. T-Money picks CD and tosses him to the outside of the ring near the entrance. Cool Dad slowly makes it to his feet and T-Money suicide dives out of the ring taking out CD. Both Cool Dad and T-Money are down.
1………. 2………. 3………. 4………..
As the ref counts T-Money makes it to one knee.
5………. 6……….
CD and T-Money have made it wearily to their feet.
7……….. 8………..
T-Money tries to Irish whip CD back into the ring but CD reverses slamming T-Money into the steel steps.
9…………………….
Cool Dad pulls T-Money to his feet, throws him back into the ring and rolls in himself before he gets counted out. Cool Dad picks up T-Money and hits him with the Cool Crush.
Josh Harter: There it is the Cool Crush! It’s all over here! Wait Cool Dad is going to the top rope! What’s he doing?!
Cool Dad scales the nearest turnbuckle and hits a diving elbow off the tope rope right onto T-Money’s chest, knocking the wind out of him.
Phil Brooks: What a devastating elbow! Cool Dad is going for the pin!
Cool Dad out of energy manages to crawl atop T-Money and his leg.
1……………. 2………………
T-Money kicks out!
G-Money: Hmm. Impressive.
Josh Harter: How did T-Money do that?! That was a sternum breaking elbow drop from the top rope!
Cool Dad is in disbelief that T-Money kicked out. He goes for another pin.
1…………….. 2…………………..
T-Money kicks out again!
Cool Dad picks up T-Money for another Cool Crush but T-Money reverses and hits Cool Dad with the Money Maker.
Jamal Carter: What the-?!
Phil Brooks: Beautiful reversal by T-Money who goes for the pin!
1………… 2………… 3.
Michelle Madison: Here is your winner, T-MONEY!
“We Fly High” by Jim Jones begins to play as the ref raises T-Money’s hand and a replay of the match finish is shone. G-Money has removed his headset and grabbed the steel chair on the announce table and slid into the ring.
Phil Brooks: Looks like G-Money is going to weaken one of his opponents for Alpha!
T-Money celebrates and is unaware of G-Money in the ring with a chair. T-Money turns around, G-Money swings the chair trying to take off T-Money’s head but he misses and T-Money grabs the chair and delivers a shot of his own. T-Money sets the chair down and hits the Money Maker on G-Money cracking his head on the steel chair.
Josh Harter: Money Maker right on that steel chair! That will teach him!
T-Money once again stands up triumphantly but Jamal Carter comes charging in the ring and clotheslines T-Money from behind knocking him out of the ring. Carter challenges T-Money to comeback to the ring but he retreats up the entrance ramp. A dazed and confused Cool Dad has made it to his feet and is right in Carter’s crosshairs. Carter drags Cool Dad over to the turnbuckle nearest the announce table so he can have a good look at T-Money. Carter then sets CD up in the 3rd degree burns powerbomb and slams CD to the mat. “Fireproof” by Pillar begins to play as Jamal Carter mounts the turnbuckle and stares down T-Money.
Phil Brooks: Wow! Devastating powerbomb from Jamal Carter who stares down a retreating T-Money!
Josh Harter: Whatever! Carter is 0 and 2! Soon to be 0-3 at Alpha!
Phil Brooks: As I see it, Carter is the last one standing in the ring!
Josh Harter: Just wait till Alpha when Cool Dad gets his revenge or T-Money busts him open again!
Miguel Sanchez Segment
He then steps off and walks over to the apron to grab a microphone from one of the ring attendants. The lights turn to normal and the music comes to a halt.
Miguel Sanchez: Ladies and Gentelmen, earlier in your show, I attacked my opponent for the world heavyweight championship match at GWC's first ever pay per view, Alpha, mr. BA Monk. Now I know for a fact that, that whole thing didn't really sit well in your stomachs. After all, BA Monk might not even make it after I gave him my double underhook piledriver "aka" The Great Rebirth, through the table. It's smart strategy. You people need to look at it as me getting a well deserved "Two Minute headstart". This is in a sense, a foot race to the title. A month long race that had 2 people get in my way and fall down. First, it was Eric Kennedy, then it was Thunder. The way I see it.....Two down, one to go. It's almost as easy as rolling up a fat one on a friday night. It's like....Stealing food from a blind man, taking candy from a baby. Listen to me, world.....
Crowd: You suck (chanting)
Miguel Sanchez: If I suck than howcome I am in the tournament finals and you wannabes aren't? Boo all you want, because you envious nobodies just got proven wrong. Nobody with a written promo has the balls to do that. Now...
Crowd: You suck dick! You suck dick!
Miguel Sanchez: I agree. Dick Cheeny does suck, but that isn't the point here. The fact still stands that I, in my short month here, have already made 10 times more the progress of any superstar in the back. Hey...I guarantee you that by the end of the year, I would have beaten everybody on this roster atleast once. 2 casualties have already been made, BA Monk will be no acception to that list.
Crowd: Boooooo
Miguel Sanchez: Hey, camera, zoom in on me real quick. Do you people think you are good enough to be hollywood? Do you think that you are good enough to be on my level? Well you're not. Deal with it. BA Monk, prepare to get dropped like a bad hangover. And don't think that you have a fat chance of walking out of this match with the belt, because it's not going to happen. Deal with the truth, because the truth hurts. And that's....just the way....it is....
Sanchez drops the microphone in the ring. Lunatic Calm's "Leave you far behind" begins to blast through the arena again. Sanchez leaves the ring and walks up the ramp to the back with a smile on his face.
Eric Kennedy v. Ryder
Michelle Madison: Ladies and Gentlemen, this next contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Green Bay Wisconsin, weighing in at 245 lbs. Eric Kennedy!
"Kings Collide" by Godsmack blasts over the PA System as Eric Kennedy walks out onto the entrance stage. He looks around at the crowd and slowly shakes his head, letting out a small chuckle. He than heads down the aisle and slides into the ring as "Kings Collide" dies down.
Michelle Madison: And his opponent. Weighing in at 245 lbs. Ryder!
Smoke fills the ringside area and "Kingdom Come" by Godflesh begins to play as we see a shadowy figure emerge from the curtain. Dressed in a chainmail sleeveless shirt, black jeans, and a pair of black boots, this man makes his way to the ring. He slides under the bottom rope, stands, and sticks both fists straight out to his sides as he tilts his head back and looks to the rafters. His long blonde hair falls back from his face to reveal deep blue eyes and a face that is tormented. He then goes to the corner of the ring and sits against the bottom turnbuckle as the music fades and the lights turn back on. This is Ryder.
Both men stand face to face and stare at each other as the bell rings. They begin to exchange lefts and rights. Kennedy gets the advantage by kneeing Ryder in the stomach and than delivering an elbow to the back of his head. He grabs Ryder by the arm and irish whips him into the turnbuckle. Kennedy comes at full speed and connects a clothesline in the corner. As Ryder stumbles forward, Kennedy goes for a Yakuza Kick but Ryder ducks under it and comes back up with a european uppercut. Kennedy stumbles backwards from the impact and Ryder runs at him and connects a dropkick. Kennedy falls onto the mat and Ryder quickly moves over to him. As he stands over Kennedy, he goes to pick him up by the hair but Kennedy counters it with a thumb to the eye. Kennedy stands up and grabs Ryder by the head and tights and throws him through the turnbuckle into the ring post.
Phil Brooks: Good God that's how you can take a man's head off.
Josh Harter: Which wouldn't be all that bad!
Kennedy moves over and climbs up onto the second turnbuckle. He leaps off and drops a knee into Ryders back, who is still stuck between the turnbuckles. Kennedy picks up Ryders legs and jerks him out from the turnbuckle. He drops an elbow to Ryders back, followed by a second and third. Kennedy than sits on Ryders back and hooks him into a Camel Clutch. Kennedy than releases the camel clutch after about a minute and than jumps up and drops a knee into the lower back of Ryder. Just than a huge "oooh" goes across the crowd and their attention seems to be focused on the entrance stage. Reckless Jack is standing there, making his way down to the ring. In his hand is a 7Up bottle but it appears that there is a different substance in the bottle, considering the way he is stumbling all over the place.
Josh Harter: Not this idiot! I'm guessing that isn't soda either!
Phil Brooks: He is a fan of the russian Vodka, but he's trying to keep this PG rated for all the kids out there.
Josh Harter: Good call pointing out that it's liquor then.
Kennedy lifts Ryder up but catches a superkick in the jaw for his efforts. Ryder goes for the cover, but Kennedy is able to get his arm on the ropes. Ryder lifts Kennedy up, but Kennedy falls down as if he has a concussion. Ryder goes to pick him up again, showing a slight sign of sympathy, but gets rolled up by Kennedy.
1...
2...
3!!!
Michelle Madison: Here is your winner, Eric Kennedy!
Josh Harter: What a move of 'possum, just like Bret Hart back in the day!
Phil Brooks: He is a despicable character Eric Kennedy. Terrible human being.
"Kings Collide" hits the speakers as Reckless Jack slides into the ring and smacks Kennedy over the skull with the bottle, then hits Reckless Killing on Kennedy. The music stops suddenly as the crowd cheers.
Josh Harter: What the hell! Who does Reckless Jack think he is? That's the King! That's the great Eric Kennedy!
Phil Brooks: Jack said he'd make an impact here in the GWC, and he certainly is showing Eric Kennedy what that means up close and personal.
"Imperium" hits the speakers as Jack rolls out of the ring and drunkily stumbles back up the ramp to the roar of the cheering crowd.
Crowd: Reckless Jack! Reckless Jack! Reckless Jack!

#1 Contender for United States Title David Alastair v. Thunder v. Skyler Striker
'Young Grow Old' by Creed hits the speakers as red light begins to flash across the arena. The crowd roars in approval as a bright light hits the stage, revealing the GWC's United States champion, Red Solomon. With the belt around his waist and a microphone in his hand, Red clearly has come to make an announcement. Clad in a dark grey suit and stylish Ray-Bans, Red Solomon grins, holds up a hand and lifts the microphone to his lips.
Red Solomon: Yeah, I did change my music. Pretty damn cool, huh? And you know, the title of the song resonates with me and what I've achieved in the GWC as well. Because you see, when those of you who were in New Mexico on last week's Assault, or the millions watching at home saw me climb that ladder and take that United States championship belt, thirty years down the road when you've grown old, and I've grown old, we'll still remember the day Red Solomon became the first ever champion in the GWC!
But that's history now. That's in the past. Now why am I out here, when I could have been training for my title defense on Alpha? You see, I've been told by Commissioner Vice that in the next few minutes a match will be underway to determine the Number One Contender for my title at Alpha, and I just had to come down here and scout things out for myself.
You know, when you're a champion the level of competition rises beyond anything you can possibly imagine. When you're a challenger, you're just another snot-nosed punk hanging around the Commissioner's office, trying to beg off a title shot. But when you've taken that next step and actually have a belt to wrap around your waist, you might as well paint a target on your back while you're at it. I'm under no illusions- I know I'm a marked man. There are some tough sons of b-tches in the back, and you'd better believe they'll do anything it takes to take my belt from me.
So I've come down here to Assault to see for myself exactly which specimen of humanity will earn the right to face me for the championship of the USA come Alpha. I'm standing right here, right on this very stage, and I dare whoever is going out into that ring later to look me in the eye, man to man, one on one. Because boys, while this title belt right here is all shiny and might distract you for a moment, I'd like to remind you just whose waist this title belt is wrapped around.
So go on down to that ring and beat the hell out of each other, and when it's all over and the winner's climbing a turnbuckle and looking for that flash of gold, I'd like to remind you that your trial has only just begun. Because you see, if you want to own this bit of gold, you'll have to burn your way through the Asian Sensation first. You'll have to break me in half before I'll stop getting shoulders off the mat, you'll have to break my legs before I even entertain the thought of quitting. I'm the champion, and I'm not done being the champion just yet. Red out.
Red throws the microphone down and takes his title belt off his waist, raising it high into the air and pointing at it as the fans cheer. He then loops the belt over his right shoulder and stares back towards the stage curtains, where the first man in the Number One Contendership match is about to make his appearance.
Michelle Madison: The following contest is the main event of the evening and will be contested as a triple threat match! The winner will recieve a number one contenders match for the United States championship at GWC Alpha!
The beginning of "Atomic Garden" introduces a sheet of light fog, which covers the entrance way. Seen at the right angle, one can manage to see a figure standing behind the fog. As the words "Everybody wants to dance in a playpen/But nobody wants to play in my garden/I see the hippies on an angry line/Guess they don't get my meaning" rattles through the arena, David Alastair steps out of the fog.
A good deal of cheers reign down on David, as he inhales, exhales, and looks around, giving the impression of scanning the path before him. "I'm enchanted by the birds in my blossoms/I'm enamored by young lovers on the weekend/I like the Fourth of July/When bombs start flashing/And I wish I had a shiny red top/A bugle with a big brass bell would cheer me up/Or maybe something bigger that could really go pop!" rings into the sound system, David spreads his arms outward and stays like that until the chorus comes in.
"So I could make the gardening stop/Come out to play/Come out to play/And we'll pretend it's Christmas Day/In my atomic..."
As "Atomic Garden" continues to play, David then proceeds down the ramp and slides into the ring. David proceeds to taunt on the nearest turnbuckle. He embraces the crowd reactions by extending his arms out and proceeds to slowly step off the turnbuckle, preparing for his upcoming match.
Michelle Madison: Introducing first, weighing in at 246 pounds, from Nekiomi, Japan, he is David Alastair!!!
A bell rings and the arena lights shut off completely except for a dark blue light that covers the entrance. Another bell replaces it with the same ring. This too fades until a guitar powers out over the P.A., and the bell rings a third time as the introduction to Metallica’s “For Whom The Bell Tolls” plays. The haunting sounds continue as more blue lights come and go around the arena. The preceding lyricless verse and chorus play, instead the song leads straight into the first verse with words. A shadowy figure emerges at the entranceway, completely black in the dark blue light. A flash of light reveals Skyler Striker, dressed in an unbuttoned black shirt and his torn maroon pants. He steps out onto the entrance stage and stands completely still for a moment. He begins his walk to the ring as the lone light follows him down, the arena still black. Skyler slides into the ring and stops in the middle, throwing off his shirt and spreads his arms in a crucifix pose as the lights come up with red pyro exploding from the turnbuckles. Skyler walks to the turnbuckle and does another crucifix.
Michelle Madison: And weighing in at 220 pounds, from Sydney, Austraillia, he is Skyler Strrrriiiiiker!!!
Money" by Pink Floyd begins to play. As the cash register sound ends and the music begins, Thunder walks towards the ring. He reaches the apron and climbs the turnbuckle, taunting the fans.
Michelle Madison: And weighing in at 230 pounds...
Before Michelle Madison could continue with her announcement, David Alastair rushes across the ring and knocks Thunder right off the turnbuckle, over the ropes and onto the apron. Skyler Stiker then dropkicks Alastair in the back and knocks so that he goeshoulderer first through the ropes and onto the apron, knocking Thunder (who was about to get to his feet) onto the mat outside the ring in the process. Skyler then steps up the ropes and stands on the top.
He waits for Thunder to get to his feet and just flies through the air and nails Thunder with a hard cross body. Striker gets to his feet clutching his ribs, but when he does, he is met with an asai moonsault thanks to David Alastair
Alastair gets to his feet and picks Striker up by his hair. He then puts him on the apron, but sticks his body from the waist up into the ring. Alastair then goes on the apron and walks over to his left to that side of the apron. He slingshots over and nails leg dropop right on Skyler Striker's chest. He pulls him in by his arm and gives him a pin.

Thunder is launched halfway across the ring as a result. Alastair scurries over for the pin.

Thunder gets his foot on thbottomem rope to break up the count. Alastair pulls Thunder into position and begins tascendnd the top rope. He does and prepares to do something great, but Skyler Striker shakes the ropes and has him land in precariousus position. Skyler then makes his way over to Alistair, but before he does, Thunder drop toe holds him right into the bottem rope. Thunder then gets up and climbs up the corner to attack Alistair, but his pushed off. He lands on his feet though. He goes back, but his met by a boot to the face thanks to Skyler Striker which has him stumble back. David Alastair then gets back up to the top rope, but Striker grabs him by the wrists and slings him over. The momentum causes Alastair to somersault in the air and hit Thunder. Both men get knocked down.
Josh Harter: High flying action thus far, looks like this could be one hell of a main event!
Phil Brooks: Absolutely, there's too much on the line to leave something behind.
Skyler Striker then turns around to ascend the top rope. Thunder scrambles to his feet though and delivers a hard shot to Skyler's back. He then grabs him by the head and slams him down to the mat. Thunder then goes up to climb the top rope. He gets to the top and dives down, but is once again met with the boot soles of Skyler Striker. Thunder stumbles back and leans back into the corner, dazed. Striker nip-ups to his feet only to be met with a spear by David Alastair. Alastair goes for the pin.

Thunder shoots out of the corner and delivers a hard axe handle to the back of Alastair. Thunder then quickly picks up Alastair and gives him a german suplex into the corner. Thunder runs to the corner on the opposite side of the ring and charges at Alastair, but Skyler Striker stands in the way. Thunder tries to run through Striker, but Striker catapults him right on to David Alastair's shoulders. As Striker moves out the way, Alastair runs out of the corner with Thunder sitting on his shoulders and delivers a hard running powerbomb pin.

Thunder gets the shoulder up. Striker then delivers a hard dropkick to the back of Alastair's head. Striker then goes over to stand on the apron.

Thunder rushes over and kicks Striker to break up the pin. Thunder then grabs Alastair and throws him into the turnbuckle. As Striker gets to his feet, Thunder locks in the Million Dollar Dream. Phil Brooks: Alastair has pinned Skyler Striker! He's going to face Solomon at Alpha!
"Atomic Garden" hits the speakers as Alastair rolls out of the ring. Solomon walks down the ramp and the two meet and stare eye to eye as the credits for Assault roll.
Josh Harter: The tension it's rising. Alpha is coming. Only in the GWC!
