"Shinobi v. Dragon Ninja" by Lost Prophets hits as the camera pans throughout the GWC audience. Multiple signs of fans regarding their favorite GWC stars. "THUNDER IS THE TRUE KING", "NUCKING FUTS!", and "WE SKY HIGH WITH SKYLER!" are seen in the crowd, before the camera finally settles on Josh Harter and Phil Brooks.
Phil Brooks: Ladies and gentleman, it is episode three of Wednesday Night Assault here in the McKale Center on the campus of the University of Arizona. We have some wild match-ups tonight, including Skyler Striker against Jucain in the World title tournament.
Josh Harter: Not only that, but David Alastair has accepted Thunder's challenge, and they will due battle in a Hitman Division tournament match-up as well. Both men are 1-0, someone will take control of the division tonight!
Phil Brooks: And of course, let's not forget about our main event, a seven man battle royal to become the two NUMBER ONE CONTENDERS for the UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP!
Josh Harter: Not only is it a battle royal, but just moments ago, Commissioner Vice told me that the championship match will be NEXT WEEK...and it will be a LADDER MATCH!
Phil Brooks: Oh my! It's a great time to be a part of the GWC. Now lets send it backstage to Tim Ryan before our opening match, the debut of "The Sinner" Miguel Sanchez, against Eric Kennedy.
The cameras cut backstage.
BA Monk Segment
Scene opens in the back with Tim Ryan standing in front of the GWC logo with a mic in hand.
Tim Ryan: Hello, ladies and gentlemen and welcome to GWC Wednesday Night Assault! We're going to have a lot of action for you tonight but before all that, I'm going to let you hear from the man who claims he's the next US Champion...BA Monk!
Monk steps into the view of the camera and right next to Tim Ryan. BA Monk is dressed in his wrestling attire and has a white towel draped around his neck.
Tim Ryan: Hello and wel...
BA Monk: Wait a second, Tim. I want to ask the first question here.
Tim Ryan jumps at the interruption. Then he just nods his head.
BA Monk: How are things with the Mrs.?
Tim Ryan: The...The Mrs.?
BA Monl: You know, Alaric Griffon. We all saw what was going on the other day. Anyway, yeah, Tim, I'm not here to answer your questions. I'm here to make a statement. So if you could, just hand me that microphone and step your leprechaun ass on out of here.
Ryan leaves and BA Monk stares straight into the camera.
BA Monk: I've said what I need to say about the battle royal tonight. That's not why I'm here. I'm here to expose an injustice in the GWC. And his name is Miguel Sanchez. You've got a whole locker-room filled with guys back here that's been busting their asses to get where they are so far and you, Sanchez, just stroll in this high into the Heavyweight tournament? Vice, you need to realize that this is an injustice I will not let stand. I DO feel obligated to right it, one way or the other.
Monk drops the mic and walks off screen as the camera cuts away.
Miguel Sanchez v. Eric Kennedy
King's Collide" by Godsmack begins to play slowly over the PA System. King Kennedy walks out onto the entrance ramp wearing a red and white robe. He holds a golden scepter in his right hand and raises it in the air as golden pyros shoot out of the ramp. Kennedy begins making his way down the aisle, stopping occasionally to taunt some of the fans who are booing him. Kennedy walks slowly up the ring steps and walks to the middle apron where he steps into the ring. He walks to the middle of the ring and again raises the scepter into the air as golden pyros begin to spray out of the apron of the ring. Kennedy slowly removes his robe and hands it to the referee who quickly takes it outside. Kennedy walks over to the turnbuckle and lays his scepter underneath it as the music begins to die down.
Michelle Madison: Introducing first, Eric.....KENNEDY!
All of a sudden. The lights go out. Lunatic Calm's "Leave you far Behind" begins to boom through the arena. All of a sudden, green strobe lights begin to shoot through the arena. The spotlight then shines down on the ramp as Miguel Sanchez is shown standing with a cigarette in his mouth. He then pulls the cigarette out of his mouth and flicks it into the crowd. He then proceeds to walk down the ramp. He stops at the apron and looks around. He then walks over to his left where the steel steps are and walks up them and onto the apron. From there, he scrapes off the dirt on his boots and steps through the ropes. He walks over to the closest corner and climbs up to the middle rope where he opens his arms and sucks in the reaction from the crowd. He then steps off and waits for the match to begin.
Michelle Madison: And his opponent...MIGUEL SANCHEZ!
The bell sounds and the match is underway. Sanchez and Kennedy both shoot out of their respective corners and lock up in the middle of the ring. Sanchez gets the early upper hand by giving Kennedy a painful hammerlock. Kennedy grunts and grabs his left shoulder in pain before reversing the lock and grabbing Sanchez from the back. Sanchez tries to unlock Kennedy's hands from around his waist. Sanchez then nails Kennedy in the side of the head with an elbow that rocks him. Sanchez then bends down and grabs hold of Kennedy's left leg and rolls forward. The momentum causes Kennedy to fall over face first on the mat, while Sanchez sits at his feet. Sanchez then gets up and moves back allowing Kennedy to get up in frustration.
Phil Brooks: Very nice manuever by Sanchez and Kennedy seems to not have an answer thus far.
Josh Harter: We all knew Sanchez would make a big splash here in the GWC, and it looks like Kennedy could be his first of many victims.
Both men circle the ring before locking up in the middle once again. Sanchez then quickly delivers an arm drag. Kennedy gets up quick as well does Sanchez. Sanchez delivers another one. Kennedy sits up on his knees with a look of even more frustration on his face. Sanchez just looks back smiling. Kennedy gets up and both men circle the ring once more before locking up in the middle. Sanchez uses his momentum and slowly pushes the lockup into the corner. The referee tries to break it up. Both men break it up. Kennedy quickly puts a thumb in the left eye of Miguel Sanchez before the referee can see it. Sanchez backs away from the corner clutching his left eye. Kennedy the goes over to him and hits a hard kick to the midsection. Kennedy then follows it up with a suplex. Sanchez hits the mat hard and yells in pain. Kennedy scoots over and covers him for the pin.
1......................
2......................
Sanchez just gets the shoulder up in the nick of time. Kennedy then gets up and starts to critique the referee's work. Eric Kennedy turns around and continues his assault on Miguel Sanchez. Kennedy backs up to bounce off of the ropes. He follows it up with a hard knee drop to Sanchez's forehead. Kennedy gets up and does it again. Kennedy then covers him again.
1...................
2...................
Sanchez gets the shoulder up again.
Phil Brooks: Nearly a three as Sanchez gets his shoulder up. The loser of this match is eliminated from the World Title tournament. You can just feel that both competitors will give it a little extra tonight.
Josh Harter: It's one thing to be fighting for gold, and a completely different thing when WORLD gold is on the line. The excitement here is just tingling my spine!
Kennedy sits up on his knees and wipes the sweat off his face. He then stands up and proceeds to pick Sanchez up. He gets as far as bringing him to his knees before he turns around and yells at the ref again. He turns around and is met with a couple of hard shots to the midsection before kneeing Sanchez in the chest. Kennedy takes some steps back to re-compose himself. Sanchez crawls over to the ropes to use them to get to his feet. Sanchez uses the ropes as a guideline to get to the corner and stand up. Kennedy sees him standing up and goes to attack. Sanchez sidesteps and Eric Kennedy meets the steel ring post shoulder first. Sanchez then grabs Kennedy from the tights and pulls him out. Sanchez Irish whips Kennedy off of the ropes. Sanchez then charges at him once he sees him running to his direction. He then delivers a devastation front drop kick that knocks the King right in the jaw. Kennedy gets hit so hard that he lands on the mat bent up like an accordion. Sanchez's head smacks off the mat at the same time. The referee starts a ten count.

6.................Kennedy begins to stir
7.................Kennedy climbs to his knees as Sanches begins to move on the ground.
8.................
9.................Kennedy is on his feet, and looking as if he's going for Code Red.
Josh Harter: Kennedy is stalking the young man from Los Angeles, looking for that big cutter Code Red to win the match.
Phil Brooks: Sanchez is slowly getting to his feet and still seems a little dazed since smacking his head moments ago.
Kennedy goes for Code Red, but it is blocked and turned into a backcracker by Sanchez. Sanchez climbs to the top rope, and hits the Sinner Fly!
Phil Brooks: There's the cover by Sanchez. One! Two! Three! He got him! Miguel Sanchez avengse Adrian Stone's brutal attack by eliminating Eric Kennedy from the World Title Tournament.
Josh Harter: What a shame for Kennedy. He just took a little too long to go for the Code Red and let Sanchez catch his bearings. The King deserves better than this.
Michelle Madison: Here is your winner, from Los Angeles, CA, and World Title Semi-finalist...MIGUEL SANCHEZ!
Sanchez has his arm lifted in the ring by the referee as "Leave You Far Behind" by Lunatic Calm hits the speakers. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a fan in a hooded sweatshirt jumps the barricade with a steel chair, and drills Sanchez over the head with it.
Phil Brooks: Oh my god! Security! That fan just crushed the skull of Miguel Sanchez.
Josh Harter: But that isn't a fan!
The fan removes his hood and reveals himself to be BA Monk! Monk drops the chair and grabs the mic from Michelle.
BA Monk: I told Commissioner Vice that you didn't belong here. And I warned him that if he didn't do something about it, than I will!
Boos rain down from the crowd as "Keep Away" by Godsmack hits the speakers as Monk drops the mic and exits the ring.
Jamal Carter Segment
The jumbotron shows a video filmed early that day. The Tingley Coliseum in New Mexico is practically empty except for a man standing inside of a wrestling ring. He has on grey sweat pants and sweat jacket with a navy blue and black cotton beanie. He leans on the ropes with his elbows facing towards what would be an entrance way. Further down is a steel frame with a giant screen on it. The screen is bare and slowly blips different signals on and off making the sharp scratching noise. The man in the ring continues to stare at the screen. The camera makes its way down from the stands opposite the entrance way closing in on the man, revealing it is GWC wrestler Jamal Carter. Carter is breathing heavily and beads of sweat run down his dark African face as if just finishing a cardio workout. He stands up right and begins to walk around the ring. He puts his hands above his head trying to catch his wind as he continues to view the entire coliseum in a 360 degree view. Carter then approaches the turnbuckle on the left nearest the entrance ramp, mounts it and looks around at the would-be crowd proudly and defiantly. As he stands he holds up his right arm, makes a fist with his right hand and yells at the top of his lungs.
Jamal Carter: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Carter, who has now caught his breath, dismounts the turnbuckle and pulls up left sweat jacket sleeve revealing a Rolex wristwatch. He examines the time and a smirk makes its way across his face. Carter now looks directly at the camera and mutters.
Jamal Carter: Soon........Soon........I'll be waiting.
Skyler Striker v. Jucain
Michelle Madison: Making his way to the ring, from Santa Cruz, CA…JUCAIN!
"Move" by Thousand Foot Krutch begins to play. As the music picks up, Jucain runs out to the stage, moving to the beat as he hops his way down the ramp. By the time the next chorus hits, he slides to the middle of the ring and hops up onto his feet, heading for the far-right turnbuckle from the ramp. He leaps onto the top turnbuckle and leans forward towards the audience, moving his upper body up and down and bending his knees to the beat. As the music hits the next verse, he jumps off, spinning 540 degrees, landing to where he is facing the middle of the ring, and waits for his opponent, shaking his hands, rolling his head around his neck.
Phil Brooks: Jucain 1-1 in tournament matches thus far; a victory moves him into the semifinals.
Josh Harter: 1-1 due to an absolute fluke win over Adrian Stone. I just don’t see Jucain holding up with the force that is Skyler Striker tonight.
Michelle Madison: And his opponent, from Sydney, Australia…SKYLLLLLLLLLLLLLERRRRRRRRRR STRIKERRRRRRRRRR!
A bell rings and the arena lights shut off completely except for a dark blue light that covers the entrance. Another bell replaces it with the same ring. This too fades until a guitar powers out over the P.A., and the bell rings a third time as the introduction to Metallica’s “For Whom The Bell Tolls” plays. The haunting sounds continue as more blue lights come and go around the arena. The preceding lyricless verse and chorus play, instead the song leads straight into the first verse with words. A shadowy figure emerges at the entranceway, completely black in the dark blue light. A flash of light reveals Skyler Striker, dressed in an unbuttoned black shirt and his torn maroon pants. He steps out onto the entrance stage and stands completely still for a moment. He begins his walk to the ring as the lone light follows him down, the arena still black. Skyler slides into the ring and stops in the middle, throwing off his shirt and spreads his arms in a crucifix pose as the lights come up with red pyro exploding from the turnbuckles. Skyler walks to the turnbuckle and does another crucifix.
The bell rings and the two men lock-up, Skyler with a quick advantage and pumphandle slam, followed up by a quick standing moonsault. Goes for the cover.

Kickout by Jucain.
Phil Brooks: Wow, Skyler going for that quick win right there on the early attack.
Striker pulls Jucain to his feet and whips him into the ropes, Jucain bounces back and runs into a tilt-a-whirl sidewalk slam. Striker immediately darts to the nearest turnbuckle and looks ready to fly.
Josh Harter: Striker looks for the Game of Life but nobody is home!
Phil Brooks: Jucain moves away and avoids that leg drop that could have done it right there.
Both men to their feet and Jucain hits a spinning wheel kick across the face of Striker. He follows up with two kicks to the head before pulling Striker to his feet. Whips Striker into the ropes and ducks down for a back body drop, but Striker counters it into a sunset flip cover.

Jucain reverses it into a bridge cover of his own.

Kickout by Striker.
Phil Brooks: Wow, some quick action between these two high-flyers thus far! Several near falls already!
Both men hurry to their feet. Jucain charges Striker and is met with a boot to the jaw, causing him to stumble back. Jucain charges once again as Striker ducks under his clothesline. Jucain off the other ropes and is met with a flying leg lariat from Striker. Striker now pulls Jucain up and sets him up for Last Chance.
Phil Brooks: Boom! What force from that double-underhook DDT. Jucain looks out cold, but Striker isn’t done yet.
Josh Harter: I don’t believe so either, he wants to fly!
Striker climbs the turnbuckle one more time, and connects with the Skyler High Dive senton. Hooks the leg…

Josh Harter: Big deal, just wait till he gets some competition from the other division. Like my main man Thunder, who is going to take down The New Messiah tonight.
