Lexington "The Poet" Royale
Gimmick: The Artful Avenger is making his debut upon the wrestling scene. A firm believer in the saying "you can do anything you put your mind to", this mental giant has convinced himself that his powerful mental prowess can prove useful in the squared circle. Will he be the success he predicts himself to be? Or will he be quickly humbled? Only time may tell.
Height/Weight: 6'3''/235 lbs.
Hometown: London, England
Alignment: Heel
Appearance/Attire: black tights with short black boots and a long sleeved white button up shirt
Entrance and Music: Before the music starts, the lights in the arena go out. A spotlight appears in the center of the ring and a burst of smoke fills the area. Once it clears, we are greeted with the sight of Reginald "The Magician" Churchill. He has a microphone in hand and begins to speak...
Churchill - "Ladies and gentlemen...about to come down the aisle...weighing in at 235 pounds and standing at 6'3"...he hails from London, England and is known as the Word Warrior, the Civil Champion, and the Artful Avenger...he is none other than...Lexington "The Poet" Royale!"
Beethoven's Fifth Symphony plays throughout the arena as Mr. Royale emerges from the curtain, waving to the fans, and walking down to the ring. Climbing the ring steps, he pauses on the apron to wipe his feet before stepping through the ropes. Once inside, he continues to wave as the music fades and Sir Reginald looks on approvingly.
Style: Mat wrestling is his specialty.
Favorite Moves: collar and elbow tie up into an arm bar, side headlock flip over, Boston crab, European uppercut, leg scissors
Trademark Move and Description: The Pen is Mightier (heart punch)
Finisher and Description: Verbal Violence (quotes Shakespeare, Wordsworth, or another famous poet before hitting a front falling Russian leg sweep)
Picture of Wrestler: William Regal
Manager: Reginald "The Magician" Churchill. An elderly British gentleman who knows a thing or two about magic. Constantly wearing the tuxedo and top hat of a traditional magician, he exudes mystery and intrigue everywhere he goes. Some say he is the greatest escapist since Houdini himself. Sir Reginald should have some interesting tricks up his sleeve as he leads Lexington "The Poet" Royale into battle.
